My 4-year-old joined me near the end of this morning’s workout. Wife got a picture of him using the ab wheel to copy my KB high pulls.

To which I should add that it’s hard doing this with kids and dogs in your face. But this time was pretty cute.

If I know science - and I know science - those gains are stored safely inside the beard hairs, and midway on your first stone lift when this is all over, your beard will shrink 6 inches and disperse the gains hidden within to the rest of your body.

That’s terrific! Good times!

Is everyone waiting until 1 June to post final progress?

Last time I posted a little early I think. 1st June is just the cut off point I believe brother

Is it not end of June - 6 months ??

Oops ignore that just checked and it is 1 June. Not that it will make any difference for me. I am going for the most unchanged prize !!:joy::joy:

Fun fact, when I originally thought of this contest I wanted it to be six months but I messed up the math and only made it 5 months. Probably for the best really as half a year is really quite a while to diet straight. 20 week diets seem more ā€œreasonableā€ and common for BBing diets anyway for no particular reason lol.

I am having a hell of a time resisting sweets this year, I’m managing to keep my total cals low so the weight is coming off but I don’t have the iron will I used to have a few years back, maybe because my wife and kids have so much of the stuff around and I don’t want to be a dick head not sharing ice cream with the kid. Either that or I’ve just gone soft and like ice cream and cup cakes ha.

I pick this one !! :joy::joy:

I’ve posted early in the past but I’m going to use every day this time after so much backtracking the last 2 months.

Quiet in here. This year I went a little different direction and decided to add some weight and put on strength. The weight gain hasn’t gone great (I’m still doing carnivore). I’m only up a couple of pounds, but the strength is pretty good. Getting towards the end of the 80 Hatfield cycle and thought I’d share some training from this morning.

This post, back in December, made quite an impression on me, and I was thinking about it this morning. I’m happy to say that it hasn’t been quite this bad, but neither has it been what I’d hoped, diet-wise. I’m going to try to grab a ā€œdrop dead shred of a physiqueā€ over the next couple of weeks, though. :+1:

I have come to the conclusion transformation thing is just bad timing for me. Every time I start out with a bang and when the season changes things go to hell in a hand basket.

I don’t know if it’s the stress, the added work, the bug bites/scorpion stings, season allergies or what but I get to the last and start to feel shit.

Maybe it’s the Graves maybe I am just an asshole but it seems to happen every year.

I like the way things have gone thus far, though not stellar, I’m Very Very happy with the way things have gone.

I think it’s about where the bar is set to begin with. Mine was already super low, so nowhere to go but up! :joy:

Going to ride a little later with my buddy. We’re going to do a little route I planned and did last week.

Looking at the amount of drop outs that normally happen, I don’t think it’s you.

Yeah it happens to everyone. Used to happen to me a lot.

Once I fully grasped the concept of ā€œtime passes anywayā€ it’s been easier to stick to things and let the results speak for themselves.

Im looking forward to the end of this, Not only am I comparing the last 20 weeks…but for grins Im gonna post my change from the last 18 months. This has been the longest consistent training stretch of my life. Only took 35 years to figure it out.

I have done terrible so far in this transformation. I transformed into a potato. The positive news is I started running 2-3 times per week. We played some soccer with an amateur team yesterday and I did pretty decent if not good. However fat and smoking are killing me on the field. Started counting calories is well. So ima fail horibly at this challenge haha.
