No homo comment man, but I think you look great. If you get shredded, you’ll probably super impressive.
Have I got double vision or is that a 12 pack?
I’m still up in the air on what I’m going to do… I feel like I can get back to training on Monday of my surgeon gives me the thumbs up. Leaning towards a slow steady “bulk” but really not sure.
8 when I’m lean I think, 10 when I’m super lean, only been there once or twice, and not for a good few years ha
Thanks man, only took 13 years too lol.
Easy tiger. Both those were back handed compliments and nothing else.
I… am not sure who you mean that I’m backhanded complimenting, so I assure you that it’s not intentional that I am. For @Pinkylifting I have nothing but respect. And awe. My words were meant to serve as a caution to Anna to not focus on the leanness of others.
My reference was to both Anna and my comments about pinky not looking fat. I don’t speak for Anna so I’ll just speak for myself. My comment was a compliment, pinky clearly looks good and given he himself said this was his starting point and he wanted to get leaner then Like most of us starting this process of transformation these are his ‘fat shots’. Your comment read as if you were inferring that it wasn’t a fair comment or criticism to make. You also then made a further inference that people were using his level of leanness to justify potentially bad decisions or judge if themselves.
Hence why I said easy tiger !!
What I hate most about @Pinkylifting is that he’s strong as f***. You’re supposed to pick strong or lean. You can’t have both.
Point taken.
This coming from the guy bearing down on a 500lbs pull with visible abs, while injured.
Lucky I’m so damn good looking or you guys would be giving me a complex.
I should say, sometimes things are lost in translation and if I got this wrong then ignore me. ![]()
I don’t think of myself as injured. This is just normal for me now. And it’s just an arm. I have a spare!
That’s the most Pwnisher I’ve ever heard you say.
I’m conflicted, because I certainly didn’t mean it that way. And with people, I really meant one person in particular and I’ll concede that I’m possibly stepping too far out of line there. But at the same time I’m the first person, always, to point out that intent is usually beside the point and what ends up being communicated is what’s important. Meaning that magic of intent does not make one unaccountable when things are perceived in an unintended way. So, thanks for calling me out on it.
I think it’s fairly common on here for things to be misinterpreted. Sometimes when multiple people have responded to a post, a further reply from someone can then seem to be replying to the group rather than the individual. You make an interesting point here though that sometimes we can overstep an invisible line without intent. I think in most cases this is understood by the recipient and we all move on. The hard part can be separating between telling someone some advice or replying to their comment rather than telling the person what they were thinking or translating their message into something greater than it was.
There is probably a whole thread here on where the line is and what you should expect if you post on an open forum in the first place (does it make everything fair game). Anyway I am just rambling now.
You did?
I didn’t mean it that way but my comment could easily have been interpreted as invalidating your feelings
Haha don’t worry I took it in the spirit it was intended. I think he was looking out for you more than for me.
