Yeah I have done it snatched before a few times. It is not fun.

I have not yet harmed myself, others, or equipment using the oly lifts.
I used to think this was incredible, because I don’t have access to bumper plates.
I now think this is even more incredible. I didn’t realize damage was this rampant. I feel for you guys.
yeah i now wear nike pro spandex shorts to keep my bag of kittens out of the way of the bar. I used to bag myself all the time on clean grip power pulls. Then on occasion i would cop it in the sack on the back extension rack thingy.
For that i decided to rearrange how the bars and pads were. no one ever put them back the old way. I think everyone under 5’11" was ball grinding on that thing when they went fast.

Thee years ago… got stuck doing snatches in a facility where you couldn’t drop the weight (even though they had bumpers and a platform…). Was losing the snatch behind me and ripped my arm out its socket. Tore my supra spinatus in half and separated more than 50% of my labrum from scapula…
Last year I was sick and training. Got dizzy doing a snatch and smashed 70 kgs into my forehead. My forehead exploded into a pool of blood. It didn’t really hurt, and it was quite funny.

Yea that was gonna be my third big mistake which Ive done too many times. Its pretty hard too really shoot your hips after the first time you do. Once I was doing some powercleans and hit the bar a little too hard.
Having that feeling of something was wrong but I just couldnt feel it yet I immediatley checked to make sure everything was in proper place. (This is where mirrors and working out around chicks really sucks). Luckily nothing was missing and my wife did not see me fondeling myself around other women.

That’s friggen awesome.
I was trying a new PR in the front squat at the school gym, mind you this is not a hardcore gym. I got under the bar, walked out, and while decending I felt that the heavy bar was making me dizzy, and I definately felt something was wrong, so I dropped the bar, and then I did fall uncontrollably backwards and slammed my back and head into the floor.
I could kind of monitor what was going on, but I was unable to move my body. I don’t know how long it lasted, but I got to my senses again in a short time, and I was fine. Everyone else got a shock tough and came running to ask how I was doing. I tought it was pretty awesome, and the only regret that I had was that I did not have it videotaped.
I have landed my COG wrong and fallen back on my ass on cleans a handful of times
and amazingly, every single time, I have kept my upright torso position, elbows up, and the bar racked! Even with my ass literally on the floor and legs sprawled out in front of me. Usually fall back right on my butt. Every time. No idea.

I experienced the feeling of “self imposed knock out by floor” in brazilian jiu jitsu…
hilarious…
that’s when you know you really hit your head hard when you can’t move your body and you tumble to the ground…
you are thinking “hey wait…arms! legs! what are you doing?”
