Well the time has come for me to get a new power rack that will last me years and be of much better quality than the old weider I have now.

This is the one I am leaning toward and would like you alls opinions on it. I would also be getting the high/low lat station. Just like the middle pic. Seems like a great deal @ $550.00 on sale.

Phill-
I looked at the NYbarbell racks last winter but ultimately chose the Elite Fitness build your own rack with flat bench.
It cost more but is rock solid. I don’t regret it at all.
I also considered the lat pulldown addition but didn’t get it.
Unless you have a lot of room, it pushes the rack farther out from the wall.
It also may be problematic when you are unracking a bar for squats or good mornings. I didn’t want something in front of my head.
Consider the Elite Fitness rack if you can afford the extra $$$. A separate lat pulldown/row machine is a better setup IMO.

Little late though I just ordered it.
I think I will be happy with it though.

I just couldn’t justify/afford the Elite price

Phil,
I’m looking at the same rack, for the same reasons as you. I’d love to hear how you feel about it after you use it for a while.

Mom is doing ok. I talk to her a few HRs a
day at least. Just trying to get her
healthy in body and spirit befor
starting radiation next week. I will post
of course as things arise. Not looking
forward to this next step but they say
the outlook is good. I will be going back
to her for a visit in the end of June or
early July. I cant wait.
