I’m not sure where to post this, so hopefully it gets seen here. Over the last week or so, I’ve had (as explained in the title) some localized numbness/tingling in my upper hamstring and lower glute. Basically right where the ass cheek meets the leg. I have had no other injuries/issues recently. I’ve tried stretching and foam rollers, but nothing really seems to help. Oddly, the numbness tends to dissipate during exercise, but comes back immediately after. Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations?
Unilateral. Left leg/ass. I don’t think it is nerve problems, because it is not a sharp/shooting pain that exercise makes worse. The numbness actually goes away while training.
I had some really weird spasms in exactly the same area the other night after stretching. It would spasm for 30s, then let off for a few minutes… this repeated for at least 30 minutes until I fell asleep. More stretching and ART (me digging in with my fingers) didn’t do jack.
I wonder if this is an area that’s particularly prone to problems?
Did you ever get anywhere with this? I think I have a very similar problem but on both legs. Do you have odd looking darkened stretch marks in that area?
