Not Sore

I just started NROL 4 weeks ago, so I began Hypertrophy I today.

Unfortunately I had to leave because the gym closed. I thought that I’d be able to finish my workout in 1 hr 25 mins, but it didn’t work. I started with 5x5 incline bench press, 50 lbs 60 lbs 65 lbs 55 lbs 50 lbs.

Anyway, by the end of the workout(which I struggled to get through, i.e. the weights were heavy and forced me to work), I could only bench 125 with a short grip(thumbs 12" apart).

Is it common to be weaker at the end of the workout, given that I exerted myself very much? Also, I worked hard but I wasn’t sore afterwards. What’s that mean?

Sure is if you’re using the same muscle groups

No one is sore after a work out. Give it a day or two and you’ll geel it.

Delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS)

I wouldn’t judge a workout based on whether you are sore or not, it’d be the next day or two after IF you are going to get sore.
