I don’t have anything I can do a bench press on in or around my house, and it’s bad for your back to just lay down on the floor and do a press, so what should I do? Just push ups with a weighted vest on? I need suggestions asap guys please and thank you so much!
Floor press is a real exercise people do all the time. Its not bad for your back.
Standing overhead pressing is better anyways, better for your shoulders, better for your abdominals…
Benching was invented and put into practice in this century, probably by lazies and people just in it for the aesthetix.
People pressed stuff over thier heads since those big WOOLY MAMMOTHS stomped the land.
Honestly this sight has really helped me so much already, thank you so much guys! I do have dumbbells! I just wasn’t sure what to do because basically all plans have a bench press and I can’t do bench press, but thank you again guys, you’ve cleared it up for me!

Keep doing pushups with the vest and buy a bench. They aren’t that expensive
I agree with Field. Probably because it is what I do as I don’t have a bench, either. I press barbells and kettlebells over my head a lot. I supplement with various styles of push ups.
I should also say I don’t have a physique many T-Nationers dream of, but I’m happy with where I’m at.
