Nitric Oxide Stimulator

Hey guys, just have a quick question. My older brother was planning on taking these pills called “NITRIC OXIDE STIMULATOR” made by a company called six star.
Anyway, I was wondering what the benefits would be to taking this stuff over creatine and if there is any benefit from taking it at all.
Personally, I wounld’t use it… neway, what do you guys think
Here’s a link to the product… www.outletnutrition.com/nioxstenfu10.html

Thanks

There’s quite a few threads and articles here on T-Nation revealing NOx supplements to be pure garbage and a waste of money.

Here are a couple of Barrticles about it: http://www.T-Nation.com/readTopic.do?id=556124

I should warn you that once someone wants to use something, logic and reason will no longer hold sway. Good luck.

These sorts of supplements are good at making your wallet lighter.
That is their only benefit.

In their defense though- when has a supplement ever made the wallet heavier?

Truer words were never spoken man. LOL! Especially if they have friends with a cumulative experience quotient greater than 15 minutes.

I don’t know how many times, just since I’ve been around here, somebody’s shown up asking what sounds like a reasonable question about something and then after 200 guys have given solid reasons not to do it they say “well I’ll let ya know how it goes”.

Not just with supps either.

Several years ago, before knowing about this community, I took some for six straight weeks. I saw absolutely no long term benefit. I did notice more “pump” in the gym, but that could have been imagination coupled with placebo.

I would personally recommend not using them.

Thanks for the info guys… I’ll fill my brother in with the information you guys have given me.

Take it easy
