OMG there was Pumpkin Spice coffee that I REALLY wanted but I think it ran out. I grind the coffee beans in Publix, they have Brother’s something or the other.

“princess dude” came up to me and said “Hi” yesterday. I waved my hand and smiled. He kept trying to talk to me but I pointed at my earphones blasting some five finger death punch (big thanks to whomever suggested that in your log) and went right back to deadlifting. As a princess I can totally ignore people if I choose to.

Oh Maschy, I am ecstatic. The BF, the PRs, it’s all great motivation.

Average day today. I like upper body high rep day the LEAST of all.

Did 30 minutes cardio in the morning, then some hours later walked to the gym, worked out, walked back home.
I did go up on weight for a couple exercises, which I was happy with.

ALL EXERCISES ARE 15 REPS

A1) Lat Pulldown
A2) DB Bench Press

70/25, 80/27.5, 85/30, 85/30

B1) Chest Supported DB Row
B2) Incline Fly

15/15, 20/15, 20/15

C1) DB Overhead Press
C2) Lateral Raises

20/5, 22.5/5 x 3

D1) Incline Bench DB Front Raise
D2) Rear Delt Fly on Incline Bench

5/5 x 3

E1) Barbell Curl
E2) Tricep Pressdowns

40/40 x 3

I cut the arm exercises short, a couple of guys who did endless sets of benching just to check out my ass when deadlifting the other day showed up and they’re starting to irk me.

Your workouts blow my mind. I fucking love the volume. I’m doing Defranco’s ‘built like a badass’ as supplemental training and I love when I get to rep out on stuff. Killer burn. I just did these rear delt flyes on the bench today actually. Fun stuff!

Ugh! its always such a buzzkill when you get peeps interfering in your workouts. And its a shame that you had to cut it short. Of course, can you blame them? A hot, strong woman would stop anyone in their tracks!

And I don’t know Kalle, my ass won’t keep you benching for as long as these guys. They did flat, incline AND decline bench. If you guys think that I’M a volume whore…

Today’s workout was… cut short… again.

Planned on doing tri-sets today.
First set was okay:
A1) BB Jump Squat (15 reps with 65 lbs)
A2) Box Squat (15 reps with 95 lbs)
A3) Prone leg curl (15 reps with 45 lbs)

Anyway, a couple guys wanted to use the power cage that I was box squatting in. Nevermind that there was an open squat rack, but yes, please ask me to hurry along.
So I compromised, said sure, if it means that much, I can just use the 2 squat racks. No big deal.
It did irk me that they went to get the pussy pad… I’m sorry, I mean the cushion pad, to put on the bar to squat.

Whatever, it took me a few minutes to set up my new stations.
A1) BB Jump squat (65 x 15 x 2)
A2) Box Squat (135 x 15 x 2)
A3) Prone Leg Curl (55x15, 60 x 15)

So, I come back from the prone leg curl machine after the last set, and what do I see? Another couple of assholes who, despite my stuff laying beside the squat racks, change around everything to do shrugs. Now, I don’t mind the fact that they could have done machine shrugs or the Smith machine that was a couple feet away and empty, but they have the audacity to see my stuff and not even wait for me to return to ask how many more sets I had, at which I would have replied “Only one more.”

So I’m standing there staring at these motherfuckers, and one of them looks me dead in the eye, then goes to my squat rack and takes a plate off my rack. As if he assumes that the girl isn’t going to add another plate to the bar, which I intended to do actually.

Now, I was steaming, I tried to continue my workout, but all I wanted to do was claw their eyes out. They eventually left, and the power cage guys decided to do DLs. Then it irked me that it took both of them to move a bar with 4 plates on it. My reasoning is, if you can’t do simple shit when you weigh freaking 190 lbs, then you have no business hurrying other people’s workouts.
So I concluded that I’m surrounded by morons, packed up and walked home.

It does bother me that I had to cut it short though, so I’ll work out later and do some cardio.

Dealing with the distractions of a commercial gym sound like a real pain. I only have my children to interrupt me, but I love them, so it’s easier to deal. Still, cut short or not, your frequency and volume leaves me breathless. You’re doing great! And adding weight on upper body days while dropping body weight–way impressive.
