The Oklahoma State weight room is over 25,000 square feet. A running track is outside the weight area. State-of-the-art stereo system. There are tons of pics and a video under the “athletes” tab if you follow the above link.

Rutgers has a field turf running area IN their weight room.

Grew up in OK, huge OSU fan and it is hard to find a better campus and surrounding community. GO POKES!
It is badass! I went to OSU and got a chance to lift at the newly renovated Colvin Center for a year and a half. It recently got a $25 million facelift. It’s kind of strange that OSU actually has money now. Every time I go back it just blows my mind how money has changed that place.

Yeah, but I bet it’s not open to the faculty, staff and students at large, else it would be another good reason to go to Ok State.
That facility looks pretty awesome. Texas A&M has a pretty big facility as well with over 23,000 sq. ft. and over 55,000 lbs of weights. I am currently interning at a facility that is 10,000 sq. ft. so I could only imagine being at a facility that big! Both places I bet are a bitch to clean!!

Two words: Boone Pickens[/quote]
You’re mostly right, but Pickens had nothing to do with the student rec center renovation.
In the second link, check out the virtual tour of the weight room. The plates in the background are pained orange and have the longhorn logo on them. And there are platforms and chages as far as the eye can see.
