On a side note could anyone recommend any good football books? I’ve read Friday Night Lights, The Blind Side, Next Man Up, Boys Will Be Boys: The Glory Days and Party Nights of the Dallas Cowboys, and You’re Okay its Just a Bruise and enjoyed them all greatly. The stock over here is limited but I can order them online.
Buy his book, I listen to this guy every day after work with his partner Tim Ryan on Serius.
Looks good, I like his stuff on NFL.com. The reviews on Amazon are very positive too. Thanks.

…and picked up Shaun Suisham. Should be a short-term upgrade since Skippy was having his worst year ever.

Hopefully they can find a quality guy in the off-season.

Well paper towel dispensers all over the 'burgh can breath a sigh of relief now.

Last year when he was shanking a few outside the posts, I thought he was just playing hardball in contract negotiations. Looks like he really isn’t that good.

Jeff Reed sucked balls this year for sure but once he started to chirp in the press he fucked himself for good, he was on his way out already but crying about it speed things up I imagine.

What about movies?..Brians Song(have tissues ready lol) and North Dallas Forty were good imo, both from the seventies.

North Dallas Forty - Movie doesn’t do ti justice
Junction Boys - Movie sucked balls

Heard reports this morning that the McNabb contract is not as extensive as orginally reported. Anybody heard more details?

^yep! He’s owed 3.5 this yr & than they can cut him. Though according to Schefter this morning, they won’t. No one better out there, Vick will be franchised & Kolb will require a 1st & 3rd pick. Only other options if they cut Mac loose, in free agency is Hasselback or Garrard… I think they’ll stay w/McNabb.

Shanny needs more control if you can believe that! Read this morning that Dirty 30 (Landry) was spitting in cats faces Mon. night. Than must of made a real inappropriate comment to Jackson. Guy was having a hell’uva yr when he blitzed & was playing run, but trying to cover man 2 man he is HORRIBLE!

^ I dont think the Eagles will trade in Division another QB, Kolb will go west either 49rs or maybe Seattle, Arizona. Landry is a thug, never like that kid.

^ I would not give up my 1st & 3rd for Kolb. & not because I think he is bad, I just think it’s to much. Next yr is when Shanny should draft a qb. possibly Mallett cuz he has a gun for an arm. Supposedly he will be in the middle of the pack in the 1st round.

^ What about Luck, just to piss off WC grab him from the West Coast to the East coast. To me drafting a Qb is the most uncertain position on the field. At least with Kolb he has sat and learned, his stats are almost exactly like Vick’s except for Int.

^Luck will be the first pick. I don’t think the Skins have enough to move up there. W/the way BlackSmith is playing, WC may not want another 1st round headache. I think I saw where Staley is out for the yr maybe?

I don’t think Philly will get rid of either one. Franchising Vick & still having Kolb under contract plays out well for Philly. He basically has 2 starters. The way Vick throws his body around, he’s prone to be injured once or twice throughout the yr. What a nice saftey-net to have in Kolb.

I could see that, but I could see some desperation on some teams that are maybe in that middle of the road 1st round pick going for Kolb. So you see Luck going to Buffalo?

I will not allow it. If the 49ers don’t draft Luck, I will draft him as part of my expansion team.

Honestly though, if Troy keeps playing like he does, the 49ers might not need to draft a QB. I also think the 49ers will be hesitant to take a risk on another first round QB, especially with the cost.

^ Agreed unless the have a rookie salary cap. Then the best player goes first not matter what position.

I don’t think Ollie jr is coming out. Especially if his first option is Buffablow.

Ummm dude. Their completion percentages are similar, but on the same number of pass attempts Vick has 11 pass TDs, Kolb has 6. Vick has thrown for 300 more yards and rushed for 300 more yards with 4 rush TDS to Kolb’s 0. Not to mention Vick is the highest rated passer in the league at 115.1; Kolb’s rating is 85.3. Also, Vick 0 INTs, Kolb 4.
