^ You can laugh MF cause your team is not 1-5.
^This yr!
Wut up NattyNate? One big receiver from gong the distance.

I’m so over Favre. I hope he doesn’t play another game. He has completely tarnished is his shitty image. Houston will be a tough out, if everyone stays healthy. (I’m a closet DJHT fan).
Yes on the open fly jeans. Only problem is the guy was a left throwing the ball. ![]()

^I still haven’t figure out how you play a violent, brutal game w/your cock hanging & swinging in the wind that way? Maybe he really is a tough little prick.
I don’t know about you fellas but I fucking hate this parity shit in the NFL this year.
I like it when there is a dominate team or two to really have a hate on for. I also think it’s important as a fan to have a team to be in awe of as well so when they lose it’s a big deal.
As much as I hate the the Pats, when they were on that hot streak I thought it was great entertainment.
Some of you guys here can put thoughts to words way better than I can.
I Repeat:I fucking hate parity…convince me it’s a good thing please.
^ It keeps the NFL alive and kicking. Parity creates a broad base of fans, if 32 teams have a legit chance to win, ticket sales go up and TV ratings go up. Period, you keep forgetting the business side of this game. Guys who just love the game for the game of itself, well we have to suffer through business decisions. Like getting rid of favorite players and the parity. My friend it will never change from this, I accepted it a few years back.
^I heard on Mike & Mike today the 12 most watched & highest rated shows this yr have been NFL games. That says a lot, & the revenue it brings in is ridiculous. I can deal w/all the parity outside of my fave players jumpin teams for money. But as DJ says, it’s a biz, & biz is good.
to go along with the parity… i can’t believe buffalo did as well as they did against baltimore of all defenses. still trying to wrap my head around that!
^ Maybe they are not as bad as people/media portray them. May Chan is a better coach than gets credit. But they have been putting up points this year.
GO CHIEFS!

I’ve been starting the majority of the Chiefs offense in fantasy football, and it has really paid off. On one team last week I went with Charles and Jones at RB and had Bowe at WR, they rewarded be nicely.
I think the coaching over there is working some serious magic.
^ Speaking of coaching, WTF is Singletary smoking? I love the man and his passion, but does he really think they can make the playoffs?

He is insane, plain and simple.
^HaHaHaHa thanks I needed that this morning. I mean I get it, you never give up never surrender, that mentality is what drove him on the field. But now you are a coach, you have to think in terms of years not just one play, one game at a time also. When you have a solid foundation and have a good structure of rookies and vets coming in then you can say something like this. But this team has been in transition for a few years now, and they are still a few years away (need QB).

The things that creates parity (free agency and the salary cap) are good things. There might not be any truly dominant teams this year, but there are still franchises that you know are always going to have a shot (PIT, NE, IND, etc) just because of how they are run.
My (our) team is good at drafting and working the cap, so I’m happy with the current system. The alternative (no salary cap) would not be good for the Steelers.
EDIT: It’s not a coincidence that the 3 teams I mentioned also have 3 of the best QBs in the NFL.
^ Funny you brought that up, I was listening to Gil Brandt the other night and he was discussing how the Rooney’s changed their philosophy of running the organization in 1973. He decided that year to no longer trade away draft picks and work through the draft to build the team. I think a lot of franchizes now are looking at this model as the only way to build a solid foundation. Another reason why some of the older big names have trouble finding work ala Marvin Harrison and Derek Brooks.
Talk about nuts…raheem morris is nuts if he truly believes that the bucs are the best team in the NFC. They do nothing well and somehow win, He gave no credit to the teams he loses to (most notably the steelers) and they got trounced. Im all for being positive because most coaches are crotchety and uber negative but he is most definitley on the crack rock for saying this. RAHEEM STFU~!
^ While I agree Matty he is fucking 4-2, which chaps my ass, and he did say NFC not NFL. They are in a tough division, no way they beat out the Saints and Falcons.

I’d change my philosophy too if I had just drafted Joe Green, LC Greenwood, Bradshaw, Mel Blount, Franco Harris, Rocky Bleier, and Jack Ham.
Then comes the legendary 74 draft, with 4 HOFers (Swann, Lambert, Stallworth, Webster) in the first 5 rounds. Their scouting department was owning shit back then.
I think The Chief made a wise decision (Captain Obvious to the rescue).
