NFL 2010 x 2

what’re the thoughts on my 'phins… i feel like i have in years past when we’re underdogs we have the best chance to win… when we’re favorites we just can’t seem to do anything…

this year at home its looking brutal
I feel that they got jobbed last week. Although it is entirely possible that the call could have gone the other way and the Steelers still could have won the game, it shouldn’t have happened like it did.

In the side judge’s (guy who blew the whistle and signaled TD) defense, from his angle it looked like a TD, even on replay.

Outside of that, I think Henne looks pretty solid but unspectacular so far, Dansby was a GREAT FA pickup, your pass rush is good, Bess and Marshall are a great WR tandem, and the OL is stout. They will probably be the class of the AFC East next year after the Jets get torn apart in free agency, and will be a winning team for the next few years.

If I were a Jet though, I don’t know how you could want to leave Rex Ryan. I’d love to play for that guy. I am in love with his aggressive approach to the game.

Troy Smith to Ted Ginn Jr. FTW?!?!
Hey man stranger shit has happened, you never know about Troy Smith. He really did not get an opportunity in Balt, just freak circumstances. He was going to be the starter and got the pig flu and then they went with Falco. He has had years to sit and learn. Really man he could turn out okay.
I know, I am excited by the prospect. Honestly I’m not expecting any miracles, but at least it gives me something different to look forward to.

Yea man I got a guy my age that has never had a winning record starting for the Cowboys. However I think we have the same problem DEFENSE where and the fuck did it go?

gotta echo the same thing with rex… he coaches like an ex-player would… def knows how to motivate his team… as much as i hate the jets i hate them more for getting a defensive genius like rex, no matter how fat and loud his mouth is…

^DAMN!!! Dude! I just gave you some nice props on the Douschphins & you come back w/hate on the Jets!

I gotta good mind to come to Ga. & look for the only Joe (My Cousin) Pesci eye-taliano in the middle of red-necks & teet pullers to whoop up on ya’.

^HaHaHa. morning Print.

vinnie come on man and get an avi already, if you are going to be part of the tribe step up your game.

I love his loud mouth. Fuck this “flying under the rader” bullshit. If you think you’re the best, fucking shout it out loud as long as you back it up on Sunday.

Print, I completely disagree with you about the Jets not being able to beat the Steelers. NYJ are a matchup nightmare for the Steelers. As long as Sanchez doesn’t have a 3 turnover game, I’d give the Jets a slight edge. 12/19 should be fun to watch.

^Morning gentlemen.

SN, did I say that? I don’t recall. I think it will be a great game period. Even more so if records & home field advantage com into play. I do agree w/you though that Sanchez is the key for our success.

I am interested in hearing the match up nightmares for you guys? The run def hasn’t even had a 80yd game put on them. Obviously our strength is the run game. Tell me so when I talk to Rex later in the week I can give him some inside info.

The Jets blitz a ton and play a lot of man coverage, right? That’s a nightmare for Pittsburgh to deal with. They don’t have a quick slot guy that can get open right off the snap and then hurt you with RAC. They have Wallace to beat man coverage deep, but Ben will need time to get his drop and get the ball away. Time that probably won’t be in abundance.

The run defense suffered a huge loss with Aaron Smith’s injury. You’ll see teams with good running games putting up significantly higher totals now. The pass defense has been nothing to write home about either, as there have been two young QBs in the last two weeks that have had good days against them.

teet-pullers…

LOL

Jets/Steelers is the game fo teh year right now.

^ It will be that week, but this weeks game of the year is Vikes and Pats.

If farve plays, I guess so…

I will say though, if the Pats lay an egg at home against a struggling team like Sota… It will be embarrassing to say the least.

Valid.

This is why they play the game.

DJ? Don’t you think game of the yr this week is Indy v Houston?

Not in the media, sorry I guess I didnt convey that thought out. Personally I think this is the game of the week, I have adopted Houston as my AFC team cause I live in Houston. (I am a closet Rex Ryan jets fan).

I’m so over Favre. I hope he doesn’t play another game. He has completely tarnished is his shitty image. Houston will be a tough out, if everyone stays healthy. (I’m a closet DJHT fan).

^ HaHaHa, damn I cant get on hulu at work.

I would give my left nut if we had a team scheme like the Jets. That is the type of game I love.

i fucking hate the jets but i didn’t say they aren’t playing good ball right now, cuz they are really clicking on both sides of the ball… after week 1 i thought they were gonna crumble but it looks like everything is really meshing and coming together… i had my doubts but they are proving me wrong again… i think the jets have the talent and the coaching to make it to the SB but its about execution now…

This is why I don’t understand why Rob Ryan is never mentioned in HC’s convo’s. You know he has the same background as Rex, just not the same brashness. That’s what Dallas needs, a kick in the ass leader. Someone who isn’t afraid to let their nuts drag on the floor. Case in point Shanahan. He made it loud & clear who was in charge w/the Haynesworth situation. Albert tore it up Sun. aft. for those of you outside of Nutdawg who didn’t see the game.

EDIT- The Hulu thing is pretty damn funny. Watch it when you get a chance.

I will watch the Hulu thing when I get home.

Had this discussion yesterday with my friend Doogie. I try to put myself in JJ place to see what I would personally do, no matter how much hate JJ gets the guy is a T-Man. Self made and wears his balls on the outside. I will give him credit for learning and improving over the years with his decisions. Now here is my argument.

JJ is sitting there with this huge team of talent that he and Parcells have basically put together. Wade has let them slip and not kept them on short leash. JJ has to set the rest of the season with Grandpa running things. No way in hell he doesnt put a guy in there that will kick some ass. How he handles the rest of the year is going to determine who replaces Wade.

Cowher HC, Rob Ryan DC and OC havent figured out yet.

^^Hai Print!!! hahhaa
