New To The Forum, Beginner w/ Questions

Hey everybody, I’m sure you get a lot of these posts but hopefully you’ll be able to help me out. I am 16 years old and have been pretty skinny my whole life. I’m 5’10 and 133 pounds.

I’ve been lifting on and off the past year or so for football and track but never very seriously. This past winter I’ve started to lift a lot more seriously and I’ve shown a lot of progress in gaining strength, but haven’t really seen any change in mass (have been 133 area for the past couple months).

I have read a lot on nutrition and I eat as much and as healthy as I can. However, I don’t use any of the creatine or whey protein or any supplements. I drink a lot of water and I push myself a lot in the gym. I don’t know if I am doing anything wrong or if I just need to be a little bit more patient.

I apologize for not posting any pictures (though that wouldn’t help too much) or my workout routine. It is in my gym locker, I’ll post it when I get it. Thanks everyone!

Alot of older,wiser, and more experienced guys on this site by far, but I’m only a few years older than you but I wish I would of just ran with a Madcow or 5/3/1 workout, or even SS (never done it) and just seen the progress add up over time instead of doing, back and bis, tits and tris, legs, shoulders.

At 5’10 and 130lb, check your diet. It might be clean, but you’re not eating enough. Period.
