Squatted 190 x 20. I did it. Not quite perfectly… I set the bar down for about 20-30s between reps 14 and 15, but I picked it up and finished it. I was getting lightheaded and didn’t want to risk passing out. Need to work on my breathing pattern it seems.

How’s the weight gain been going up until now? You’re obviously getting stronger, so I’m just wondering how well the scale has been going up too. How long do you think it will be before you hit 180?
I was doing pretty well with the weight gain when I was really focused on my diet, but I let that slip for a few weeks and didn’t see any gains. I even lost a few pounds in there.
I weighed 135 in early June, I’m at 152 as of this morning, and hoping to hit 170 by the end of the year. That might be a bit too aggressive though.
Taking a less aggressive approach, somewhere around the area of two thirds a pound a week to a pound. Around the area of 145-150 by the end of the year would be my goal as far as weight by the end of this year.
Adrewd, people normally only get 40 from the base and around 60 pounds total from the whole program. You would get much better results for your squat with a beginner or intermediate program. (think starting strength or madcow)
