I injured myself about 8 years ago and haven’t worked out or done any weight training or any execersie in a number of years I’ve been training for 4 months or so now give or take a couple weeks .
When I first started I couldn’t deadlift or squat with a bar because it hurt my lower back back. I used the squat machine so i could squat now I’m using the bar for the last 3-4 weeks.
I’ve only done deadlifts for 3-4 weeks taking very slow, making sure my forms right which it almost is I just need to use more legs more i think thats why im getting a little back tightness now and a little pain.

I didn’t have lower back pain during but the day after any heavy movement (dead, squat, OHP) my lower back would be tight and sore until I started doing just BW glute bridges everyday with I think they’re called birddogs?
Oh, okay. You should post the form of your lifts here (either in the powerlifting, or beginner’s forums) so we can see what your form looks like, and help you.
