Lipo: Looks great, bro! What are your current stats?

I think that a LOT of what you do now will be based on your own personal goals. That being said…if I was looking at a pic of myself? BOTH! A LITTLE more mass AND cut for more definition…but again…that depends on your own personal goals.

Sorry, Lipo…mass WHERE? (duh!)

I think you already have a NICE taper going, so go for it! A little more in the lats, back and shoulders to accentuate what you’ve already started, always remembering to keep that upper/lower balance.

Thanks Mufasa. I agree (ie more mass AND more cut). Last cutting cycle robbed me of some mass. Really need to hit the MAG-10 hard, soon. Current stats are ~179# @~10% @5’10". Per JMB wanted to get bf down low before bulking again. May have lost too much too fast though.

Man, what a sellout

Lookin good! (But why did you need liposuction?)

browncy “Man, what a sellout”. Explain dude.

sewerhooker. Abnormal fat distribution. Had it all my life. I was an overweight kid and I’ve had low bodyfat before and no abs so I gave it a shot.

How much did that cost!!! What was recovery time on that?

Hey Lipo - I think you look ok - I’d say your back and traps and tricepts are your strong points - I’d start hitting you upper chest and if your having trouble with your abs - start hitting your abs after EVERY workout and they’ll start popping out in no time.
Cheers

Cost was about $3000. I was back in the gym in 2 weeks. Took a full year for the swelling to disappear.

Was it worth it? If I were you I wouldn’t have done it–a year for the swelling to go away completely??? You need to bulk up a bit, hit the abs hard with some knee raises 2-3x a week. Stick with compound movements, and eat a lot of low fat foods. I wouldn’t worry about cutting till you’ve gained about 15 more pounds.

Chest and Legs need work. Triceps and Lats look pretty good. If you are patient, go with Berardi’s reccomendation and cut first, with an androgen of course, and then bulk up after lowering bodyfat. It’ll pay off in the end.

Looks pretty good. Definitely a very noticeable improvement. Please don’t take offense at this but in the abs2 shot it looks as if your skin along your torso is loose. Did this happen as a result of the surgery? If so did it used to be worse or was it not noticeable until the swelling went down? Once again I don’t want you take offense because the reason I ask is because I have somewhat seriously considered doing my lower abs and love handles so I want to know if there will still be loose skin there. I’ve been down into the upper 6’s low 7’s BF % range and I still had love handles and a bulge that went from the love handles all the way around the front. You could make out my lower abs definition a bit but it still had a nice little roll around it. So any insight onto possible sides would be useful. Also are there any noticeable scars up close? Thanks.

Learn how to crop you pics better. ie: keep the boarders faraway from your genital region…just so this doesn’t get mixed up…your ummmmmmm parts should not be in the pics. Thanks. You were cutting them to close. Oh Good back.

Thanks to everyone for the critiques. I know I’m lacking in chest, bi’s, abs, and legs mostly and I think I did that to myself when I cut (too much, too quick). Regardless I think I look better now than ever before (not saying much).

Drew “Was it worth it?” Yeah, it was still worth it.

Steve “it looks as if your skin along your torso is loose.” Yes, it is. The cause is uncertain. The fact that I was 230# at one time (2 years ago) is a big factor. Also I have learned that the procedure can break the connective tissue that binds the skin. Combine those things with my age (38) and you end up with loose skin. Only solution is to have a skin reduction procedure and that creates huge scars. “Also are there any noticeable scars up close?” Lipo scars are very small. There are about 8 1cm scars where the cannula was inserted. A lot of people refuse to believe this but it is well documented that you can have ‘exercise resistant’ fat deposits. No matter how low your bodyfat goes you still will have pockets of fat. Lipo is the only option in these cases.
