New Partner, More Consitency

Woke up yesterday with cold chills, soreness all over, a cough and a 101 temp. Body weight was 201 which I don’t think is from the sickness but who knows. Did not eat over 600 calories yesterday and know I need to eat today to keep the diet on track. We will see how it goes. Body weight today was 200. Absolutey the lightest I’ve been in 8 years probably 10

No just the strong man amateur finals… it was fun to watch though. Don’t think I will go back just to many people.

Thanks for stopping in I have been following your log.

Went to the doctor today and after he scratched my brain with a q-tip through my nose its confirmed I have the flu… so a few more days rest and I should be good to go. of course I have to go back to work tonight and the rest of the weekend but I think I am on the downhill side of this anyway.

Body weight is down. I hit 200 yesterday but only eat 600 calories and was a little dehydrated I am sure. woke up this morning at 201.5 can start to see the ABZ a little. once I hit 10% or below then I will start eating above maintance on training days and at maintence on off days trying to get 250 grams of protein in on training days and 200 on non days. also a 200 grams of carbs on training days.

Hopefully I can keep my deit on track and make some good gains over the next year.

As of this morning I was 199. shooting for 10% bf then will start adjusting the diet up from there

Pretty unhappy with today dont know if the flu is still around kicking me in the balls or if my lack of activity and the diet have just made me that weak. Either way its all up from here. I wanted to lose the belly for lots of reasons and all it took we me reading Paul Carters Ebook telling me to get to 10% BF and then keep it and work on getting strong. Im not at 10% yet but getting closer everyday.

I can tell you that I feel alot better at this weight and that will help me in my boxing match and my day to day job. I know the strength will come back and now that I have my diet somewhat in check maybe I can get consistent in the gym and see where this goes.

wow terrible with updating this thing. Really not much to say I guess. Time has become super short around my house and the trips to the gym are few and far between so to speak so I started training at home again. Both of my boys have been wanting to go to my MMA classes and participate with me which just cant happen so at the end of my youngest wrestling season the coach handed out pamphlets for the ISWA wrestling club.

I checked into it and they have a old folks division and the coach said I could come train with them. So starting next week my two boys and I will be wrestling together when ever we can make it to practice. I figure this will be great conditioning and a different type of strength regimen and it will help me out a lot with some desperately needed skill work for when I roll with the guys in my MMA class.

So that being said my lifting is going to take a back seat for awhile while I train. I am still going to lift its just going to be focused a little differently and the sessions will be much shorter.

Sunday 3x3 mins of heavy sparring
then some rolling all and all 2 hours of work. My ground game is starting to get a little better as I am trying to learn a little patience and allow things to flow instead of forcing them to happen. I am by no means good but I was able to defend myself much better this go around.

Diet was full of junk food and beer this weekend was a great mental break but its time to get back to it will my next set of days off…

Went to class tonight and we warmed up with Bas Ruttens Mui tia routine… ass kicker… The we drilled some arm bars, kimura arm lock, and the americana. Then I learned some of the finer points of the omoplata.

I came home after that and worked the dead lift and some CURLS
