So yesterday was a bust kind of day for me ended up being awake for 28 hours eat out 3 times and did not count shot for calories.
I participated in a special Olympics charity event where we lifted percent of body weight for max reps. I did not do to bad concise ring I’m a low rep no isolation kind of lifter.
Bench press 140x31
Standing Arms curls 70x58
Leg ext 95x33
Form was not a big deal at this event to most guys or the judges but I tried to stay as strict as I could.
All and all a good day and our small event raised over $3000 for our local special Olympics.
Today we are off to the Arnold expo. I’ll do my best to get my diet somewhat straight today but who knows. Light cheat weekend I guess and I’ll have to work it off next week.

It shouldn’t, there was an article here a while abck about how hard it is to chase to different goals.[/quote]
reading your log and then my log sure does make it seem that I am not doing near enough in the gym to be as sore as I am. I know that it may be apples and oranges but still cant help but make me wonder
45 minutes of skill work and drills with ab work and speed work thrown in.
This is hopefully going to be the big change in what my workouts look like. I am hoping to get at least 1 or 2 sessions a week in of doing ground drills and then some boxing on the heavy bag.
Specifically working on straight punches and rolling around for flexibility and mobility. I am also doing some speed work with the legs like high jumps, jumping leg lunges and jumping from a kneeling position to standing.
I’m figuring out real quick that I move like a 90 year old man when it comes to mat time so I am hoping to fix that.
