hello everyone I have been a lurker on the forums for a few months now just trying to read a ton of articles and absorbing as much info as possible.Im 16 and turn 17 within a little less then a month and have been training seriously for the past 7 months. roughly 2 months before this I had a pretty bad lumbar strain from legitimate overtraining.

I had been lifting with a ton of volume somewhere between 20 and 30 sets a workout with decent intensity 5-6 days a week on top of running 3-4 miles 4 days a week along with pt at my local marine corps RSS.2 days a week. this combined with horrible nutrition and 4-6 hours of sleep a night. I had strained my back deadlifting due to pulling 2-3 times per week as well.

after this i started getting regularly adjusted by a chiropractor and doing physical therapy so I could start training again. However I could not squat or deadlift yet so my posterior chain and lower body are lagging behind pretty noticeably. just recently within the last two weeks I have resumed squatting and deadlifting again due to my back issues being 95% resolved and have alot of catching up to do.
