Thank you very much. I’m trying.

Walk-jog for 20-25 minutes

My wife and kids did this with me today. My oldest jogged the entire time. Life is good.

At least she likes you enough to slow down.

Stone carries x 5 100’ trips. I used a lighter stone and carried for distance. Just one more thing I need to do more often.

I see a lot of good things in here
Nice work

I envy you your yard toys, and your ability to use them. Are you planning on doing a meet or anything?

Keep telling myself I’m gonna try some stone carries but never get around to them. John took my question. Are you looking at doing a strongman comp?

Thanks guys. No plans on any meets. Maybe next year.

Stone carry

Same stone but I upped the distance from the previous workout.

If you haven’t carried a stone for distance you’re missing out. If done correctly its right up there with 20 rep squats.

Nice sets of push ups and the hang clean & presses are looking real good

Hopefully, if my hip heals correctly, I may be able to do loaded carries. right now, I think I would split in half lenghthwise

Thanks Harry. I hope to one day clean and press the kind of numbers you throw around.

John, that damn hip has been bugging you for a while now. Even the great Dan John has hip issues. Happens to the best of lifters. Don’t be ashamed of me but I’ve been a red wine drinker for a while now. No more whiskey. Whiskey gives me heart burn.

luckily for me, in my dotage, whiskey can give me a little heartburn if I don’t have something with it. bud red wine tears my stomach up even worse. Eventually I’ll have to start watering my whiskey down with beer

  1. Trap bar deads 135x10,195x10,235x10,285x10
  2. Sldl 2’’ deficit 255x3,295x3,320x10
  3. Cgb 255x3x10

Piece of cake.

Ah, a nice, soothing, glass of wine. Start with a really good week of Mad Dog to cleanse the pallet and follow up with a nice Thunderbird. Recommend a can of Vienna sausage, some sardines, and saltines as an accompaniment.
Boiler makers, John?

What are you now, Steve? 42? I think you can really increase your lift numbers if you choose to whereas I’m hitting that zone where I’m trying to maintain some of what I could once do.
Ok, back to the Jameson’s and a recorded episode of Cooper.

My family won’t let me eat sardines. But everything else is a go. I’ll be 44 next month. Still time For me to get big and strong. Your maintenance numbers are what the rest of us are striving for.

Kevin, Harry should write a book. I really enjoy his BonMots as well. And thanks for stopping by.
