New Hampshire Lifter

Nice squattin’

The T-handle is a great beast to reckon’ with.

Thanks guys. Squat is feeling good and I’m getting the groove with the swings.

1/23

goblet squat 63x25
t-handle swings 63x3x25
partial get-ups 40x2 each side
semi-sumo deadlifts 135x3 225x3 335x3 385x3 425x3 475x1 425x3,3
t-handle swings 130x5x10
ab rolls x 15 reps

I was tempted to put more weight on the bar but I kept things fast and light. Not sure all these swings are doing anything but I’ll keep at them for a while longer.

Do you do the swings in short shorts? Dang man, I am getting older and you are getting stronger…solid all aound work, Steve.

looks like a solid week

and the swings are awesome nice work

Paul, shorts? When I’m at home I swing in the nude. Feels real natural.

Kevin, I’m gonna be really pissed if all these swings amount to nothing.

I’ll be sure to keep them down.

  1. clean and press 135x5x5, 185x5x2
    2a. MP 135x5, 155x5, 175x5, 200x3 225x3+3push press, 175x10
    2b. 1 arm rows 120x6,5,5,3,10,5
  2. 2 sets of curls

Shake rattle and roll. Nude swings have the potential to hurt. Always feels good to get the 225 lbs over your head. Nice work.

Thanks GV. I’ll keep the swings safe for sure.

Work canceled today so I turned into betty freaking crocker. I made pancakes and chocolate chip cookies both from scratch. Got the big mixer out and everything. Made american chop suey. Did laundry and dishes too. I’ll make someone a good wife someday. But I dragged the t-handle into the living room and have done multiple sets of 60x25 all day.

That’s all the time I had time for. Didn’t warmup, Got right to it.

Not feeling it today. All my joints aching and everything felt heavy.

Just shoveled a bit of snow here in Denver; naturally, I thought of you. Hope you and all yours are staying safe back there.

The t-bar thing is a great idea; I know just where I could hide one…

Happy Lifting.

So when you’re doing back breaking, miserable work you think of me…oh great.

Just kidding. The family and I are all doing great. I hope you and yours are as well. I think you need a t-handle to travel around with.

2/2

  1. semi-sumo deads 135x5 225x3,3 275x3,3 355x3 405x3 455x3 (belt on) 505x1 575x0 (belt off) 315x10x3
  2. t-handle swings 150x5x10

Not sure why I tried to max. Back to 65-85% max volume work.

Howdy! Ok I’ve heard of talk about the semi sumo dl’s, must look that up.

Hey Mini. My foot placement for squat and deadlifts are almost identical. I find regular deadlifts and full sumo both uncomfortable. I think Ed Coan had his best pulls with semi-sumos.

2/5

1a. db bench 50x10,120x6,90x10,10,8,6,6
1b. superset trap bar rows+shrugs 135x8-8,225x8-8,8-8,8-8,8-8,6-6,6-6
2a. dips BWx3x10
2b. straight bar curls 115x3x5

Great work, as usual.

I wish we had some snow to shovel. All we got is the pineapple express and rain on the hill. I suspect the boy’s ski lessons will be canceled this week.
