partial get-ups 20x5 each side

front squat 185x2x5

ab roll BWx10

Goblet squats, swings, get-ups and farmers carries. I’ve become so functional. On a total tangent what does functional mean? Is that like carring furniture or working the farm?

12/17

goblet sqaut 45x25
t-handle swings 45x3x25
partial get-ups 20x5 each side
MP 135x1 155x1 175x1 195x1 215x1 235x1

farmers carry 120sx several short carries
ab roll BWx10

The goblet squats, swings and get ups feel much easier. Dan John did 250 swings a day while eating and drinking to much and lost weight. I eat and drink to much so maybe I should be doing more t-handle swings.

crap that looks way too much like work for my taste! Are you trying to get all sexy for snow shoveling?

Everything is feeling awesome. Just achy knees front squatting. I threw in some extra swings in the end for a little conditioning.

looks like some solid conditioning work

I have a kb here that Id like to use for some swings and tgu
but Im not cleared for that yet.

Im not sure I buy that guy shoveling isnt you… just kidding

Solid work in here. Even though it isn’t you shovelling that still ranks as one of my pictures of the year.

Kevin, I’m quickly becoming a swing fan. Seems it could be a great conditioning exercise. The tgu may take awhile to grow on me.

Dave, glad you like the picture. I’m much prettier than that though.

This is supposed to be day 11 of Dan John’s easier strength but I added additional swings at the end.

After eating to much and aching from the swings last night this was a forced workout.

Happy holidays to you and your family. I love the swings for warming up and for conditioning.

I was hoping to do more swings but I lost my enthusiam after the forth set.

12/27

t-handle swings 53x250 total swings

Most sets were 25 swings. Hats off to those who can do 500-1000 swings a day. I just got my ass handed to me with only 250.

Nice work. I agree 1000 swings a day isn’t for me either.

Is the backyard rink open for business?

I’m embarrassed to tell you this but I’m not making the rink this year. My oldest is in high school now and they have practice or a game everyday including sundays. He’s had two days off since december 1st. Just don’t have the time this year.

Maintaining the rink had to be like an unpaid 20 hour per week part time job. More than I want to take on for sure and you are to be commended for doing it for your kids.
