I am so looking forward to sleeping to at least 8 am for the next 4 days. And for the first time in years everyone’s not coming to my house for Thanksgiving. Going to one of my brother-in-laws. Make a mess there then come home to a clean house. Good deal.
Stone Man enjoy the day(s)! and the clean house!!!

Got up at 4:30 this morning to get my oldest to the rink for 5. So I decided to swing back home and workout. Now headig to Jay Peak in northern VT for a tournament with my youngest son. There’s a decent gym at the hotel so I’m hoping to get a few workouts in.

I bought Dan John’s book Intervention. Going to give his ‘park bench’ workout a go. And this was a ‘park bench’, very light feel the movement kinda workout. The toughest part was the warm-up and getting up at 430 this morning.

So you have started lifting in the 4:30 hours
Welcome brother

Thank you for the kind welcome but I’ll only be doing this once in awhile. I have nothing but respect for anyone motivated enough to train this early.

I stopped calling the first three exercises a warm-up. My hamstrings don’t feel like they’re a warm-up.
Do you ever do farmer’s carries at the beginning of a work-out? I’m wondering the farmer’s walk would be a good warm-up or would it be to stressful.

I’ve always used heavier weights (heavy for me not for many others) that toast my forearms. Maybe a lighter weight that wasn’t to taxing may make for a good warm-up.
