Do you like the semi-sumo stance the best? You’re crank’n out a bunch of volume with those high rep squat sets.[/quote]
I do like the semi-sumo best. I’m not much wider than conventional. Just feels comfortable. I’m enjoying the higher rep squats. Hoping to get some shapely legs for the ladies.

Steve- seems like your back is holding up… which must be nice…im not going to comment on he shapely legs…

Now Paul don’t be shy. You know you’ve been checking me out.

10/2

7 rounds:
chin-ups BWx5 (last round 10)
push-ups BWx10 (last round 20)
hill sprint (last round a bit further)

I wanted to do 10 rounds but I think I rushed a little and didn’t feel so good after 5.

315x20 your a beast

I stalled out at 245x25

Way to get at it

Thanks Kev. I’d like to see 405x20 at some point.

10/3

1a. bench barx20 95x10 135x5 205x5 245x5 275x15
1b. bb rows 135x2x5 225x3x5
2, krok rows 150x15

That’s all I had in me last night. I had planned on squatting but decided to watch Vikings and drink wine.

10/4

tire flips
stone carries
28’‘-30’’ ‘box’ jumps

nice work

405 x20 would be beastly

Some day I would like to be beastly.

10/6

  1. trap bar deadlift 135x5 185x5 225x5 275x5 315x5 355x10 395x5 435x5
  2. sldl 2’’ deficit 315x5x5

Everything felt good. Real happy with how 315 sldl felt.

Ha ha ha. See what I can do.

10/8

1a. MP (1st rep cleaned) 135x3x5 185x7x5
1b. 28-30’’ box jump BWx10x5
2a. chin-ups BWx5x7
2b. hill sprint 5 sprints

Feels good to jump and run around outside. My legs are already aching. I have no idea how those guys on youtube box jump 40 and 50 inches. I’d like to jump 36’’ someday. Three feet would be good for a 275 lb, 45 year old man wouldn’t it?

A 3 foot vertical would be incredible for you. Those guys on youtube have springs in their ass.

10/11

semi-sumo deadlift 135x3 185x3 225x3 275x3 295x3 335x3 375x10
squats (belt on) 135x5 225x5 275x5 315x3 365x20

Squatting 405x20 is a long way off. 365x20 was all I had.

Steve - very impressive young man !

Thanks Paul.

GM 95x10 135x5x5
calf raises 5 sets

I somehow injured my middle finger on my right hand. I can’t grip anything. Hurts like a bitch. I may actually have to go to a doctor. Luckily squats and GMs don’t need a lot of grip.

Did you ever read IronMind? I used to get a subscription but haven’t for a few years. That’s one expensive journal but I love their coverage of strength sports.

I’ve been to the website quite a bit but never read the magazine. I bet it’s got a lot of great strength info. To bad it’s expensive.

Actually went to the doc and had my finger checked yesterday. I have either trigger finger or tendinitis. X ray didn’t show any bone issues. So anti-inflammatories for 10 days and see how it feels.
