Thanks GV. Light squats are feeling good so I’m just upping the reps and having fun with it. Chins are feeling good too. Just need to drop some weight to make them easier.

Hey did you edit a comment you made in someone elses log? I thought the comment was on point, and needed to be said. I have challenged him myself on his thoughts of working harder than anyone yadda yadda. I lurk in logs not commenting much and read what you said, went in the log yesterday and low and behold its gone. I think you were 100% correct btw.

My inner guilt got the best of me so I pulled my comments. But I think if you dislike lifting so much why not find something you like? Bowling, fly fishing…And I’d had a couple beers and felt like giving my two cents.

Boys are out of harms way and making more grandkids for us, wife is still putting up with me. I’m still competing and lifting. Want to start posting again but heading off to the Philippines for a month. Have a Highland Game on 4 Oct and leaving on 6 Oct. Only a couple hundred meters from the ocean there so gonna get in a lot of good swimming.

Glad your boys are doing well. Good luck at the Highland Games. I’m sure you’re gonna crush it like you always do. A month in the Philippines sounds like a blast. Kicking back enjoying the beach and the sun. I’ll be getting my hockey rink set up and pulling out the winter jackets.

Really happy with squats. My low back was the weak link. It was tight/ached like hell.

Do you like the semi-sumo stance the best? You’re crank’n out a bunch of volume with those high rep squat sets.
