I’m starting Dan’s Even Easier Strength program for the second time but I think I’m going to hold off on the deadlift challenge for a while, in addition to making my back hurt reading about it that would serve as a lot of cardio work for me as well.
Nice work on the challenge. That is always fun and you get a great dizzy buzz after you’re done, at least I did. I think I’ll do the challenge again soon for kicks.
Thanks guys. I’ll take some warmer weather please. I’m ready for spring. Hopefully the next deadlift challenge will be done out in the back yard on an 80 degree day.

I didn’t count squat reps. I took breaks as needed. After the first 10 reps then 5’s and 3’s.

Back tighter than a mother f-er. I need to invest in some squat shoes. See if that helps.

Thanks Paul. This winter has been too long and too cold.

The db press was super easy. Just adding 1 rep each workout to the 120’s. I couldn’t help but go all out on the last set of db presses. Only an hour until my favorite show - Walking Dead. I’m an addict. I even watch the deleted scenes on youtube.

I’ve done several sets of light goblet or front squats everyday for a week. Trying to get over this damn back pain when I squat.

How’s the back after squatz? so by now you must be at the mid point of the hockey season ( hahaha)

Hey Paul. Thanks for stopping by. My back was tighter than a mothertrucker. But I’m happy to be squatting. This is the last weekend of hockey. Granite State playoffs. Both my boys made the teams for next season they wanted to be on this week. I’m so relieved.

All hopped up on coffee and a power drink. My warm-up was vacuuming and folding laundry. I’m a boss with the vacuum but my folding is piss poor.
Solid work in here, as always. I have the same domestic skill-set, haha.

Doing squats may be something of the past for me. They jack my low back all up. If I ever buy squat shoes maybe that will help. Buying a prowler first though.
