Been waiting to use this one for a while, but You Rock!

Where did you get your stone? Is there a stone story? I am on a stone hunt. One day I will drive by a rock of some kind and find my granite beauty.

Thanks guys. No good stone stories. New Hamshire is the ‘Granite State’. More stones than we know what to with up here. I have dozens in my yard. Many are smooth and fairly round too. Glaciers did that I believe.

Amen. Hitting it again tonight.

I rearranged my basement gym tonight and put down some rubber matting I was given by a local carpet guy I met through work in several areas. What a freaking pain in the ass this was. I didn’t realize how much stuff I have. Doubled it up where I do deads and cleans. I vacuumed and cleaned the place. Almost respectable now.

sounds like the true definition of a “man cave”!! well except for the vacuum part!

It’s definitely a man cave. Love it down there.

Weird thing my lats ache from dead lifting two days ago. Never had that before.

My lats ache after deads quite a bit but the most after snatch grip deads.

probably from the deadlift walk at the end of the workout, trying to keep it close.

Have your fun now. Winter is coming.

GV, I guess deads do work the entire posterior chain. Calves to neck.

John, nice to see you. Winter will most likely keep me inside. It’s hard to get excited for a cold and dark workout.

  2. powertec squats 135x10,225x10,315x10,405x10,315x20

I’m lowering my numbers next workout. 545 was too much of a grind. This was the most weight I’ve lifted without a belt.

This basement has some work going on in it! Are kirk rows like Kirk shrugs? I Used to like to do them after my Snatch Grip High Pulls.

The Trap bar dead work is fucking impressive!

Thanks Matt. Yeah they’re Kirk shrugs not rows. I’m still on the fence if I like them. Trap bar shrugs make my traps hurt more. But if Kirk likes them they must be effective. I’ve never tried snatch grip high pulls. Sounds like they’d really hit the upper back and traps.

545 beltless! holy Crap Steve that’s a HUGE # !

I overshot what I should be using for weights. I’m scaling it back down even though the higher reps just suck.

Great trap bar dead work!

Watching the newest Will Smith movie he did with his son. Don’t waste your money. And I rushed through my workout so I could watch this with my youngest son.
