The super sets wth 315 then 405 really got my attention.

405 x 13, wow. Nice work.

2a. cgb 135x10,185x10,225x10,275x7
2b. trap bar rows 135x4x10

This is the most I’ve ever tried to 1 arm db row. Keep it at this weight for awhile.

Geebers Crow 150lb rows? awesome work Steve… I did my first 50% set today…damn that can hurt!! Enjoy hockey and good luck to the lads.

Damn, so that’s what those dumbbells at the end of the rack are for. This is some seriously adequate lifting.

150 lb 1 arm dbell rows? WTF? Thanks for making me feel like crap. Oh and you did it for 5 sets, fantastic. Seriously that is a nice bit of lifting.

Thanks all. Trying to work on my lat spread. Show movies on my back.

OG, great work. 50% sets suck on low body days.

  1. cleans 135x2,2155x2,2,175x10x1
  2. deads 225x2,275x2,315x2,365x2,405x2,455x2,405x10x1

Mixed up regular deads and semi-sumo. Hoping to clean 275 at some point in the near future.

1b. chin ups BWx5,5,5,10,7,6,6,6
2a. MP 135x5x10
2b. Kirk shrugs 225x5 135x4x10

Started out feeling really stiff but after a few sets everything felt great.

Solid steady work per usual…the 50% sets are brutal…and you were right on squats…awful!!

Nice work, Steve. DB rows are scary!

And I bet the lower body 50% set does suck…in a major way.

Thanks fellas. After tonight I may be done with 50% sets for a while. I was spent after trap bar deadlifts. Tried some leg ext - squat thingies but it was a no go.

405 x 15. Wow.

I think I want to try for 415 on the trap bar too, awesome work.

Thanks Jack and GV.

Carried 185 lbs of bar+weights outside for a workout. Sun felt great on my bald head.

    2b . smaller stone carry x 4 trips, larger stone carry x 4 trips
3a. step ups on big tire 2x10 (each leg)
    3b. snatch grip sldl 185x2x10
  2. carry 185 lbs deadlift top position x 150 feet (overhand grip) back to house
  3. Everything back into basement.

Looks like someone had a little energy to burn! Nice work Steve. And yeah the sun was awesome yesterday

That is insane trap bar work Steve.

Paul, I actually had a couple hours to myself between hockey games and chores. So I couldn’t resist getting outside before the deep freeze hits us.

Joe, I may be a bit insane but my trap bar numbers are at best ok for a 44 year old fat, bald guy. But thanks for making me feel good.

One of my several brother-in-laws and his partner and their two spoiled dogs are staying with us for three weeks. And my in-laws already live with us. So my bourbon consumption is a little high for a Monday night.
