Happy birthday! 44 is a babe. And chubby and bald is sexy. So own it!
As an aside, my son made minor AA. He is the only freshman on the ice. We have the best outdoor ice skating in the country three miles from my house. I keep vowing to skate for conditioning once winter is here.
I had planned on several sets of calf raises and ab rolls but I was spent.
I’ll be 44 tomorrow. I’m already chubby and bald so no much can change. Maybe a little more white in my beard.

Extremely adequate lifting
44? Ok, let’s talk. You’re gonna start having strange feelings. You’ll look at girls different (hopefully) and start to grow hair all over (sorry, not on the head). Don’t be alarmed, it’s only puberty.
Happy Birthday.

Not to speak out of turn, but you are spot on, OG. I didn’t believe that just over four years ago. Today, though, folks like you and Harry definitely have me believing that I’ll still be progressing over a decade from now…maybe two, just to be cantankerous.
KP, my boys and brother-in-laws are the hockey players. I played football and ran track. Like I said I can barely skate.
Harry, is that why there’s hair in my ears and nose?
Paul, I haven’t been carded since I was 15. I should have known being able to grow a beard at 15 was a bad sign.
Skip, I often think the same thing. Guys 5+ years older than me still lifting hard and heavy.

Went on a guided UTV tour earlier today in northern NH with my wife and 2 boys for 4.5 hours. It figured to be a total of 50-55 miles through the White Mountains. Great time and beautiful views. Those things will go anywhere. Almost didn’t workout but its been several days since I’ve touched a weight.
Also, my wife and I had great time at Foxwoods Monday and Tuesday. Actually won money playing low stakes holdem.

Steve what do you think of the 50% set? I start them in about 4 weeks…I have a feeling that they are not fun!!
If you won money, wait about a month and you’ll get a nice letter in the mail inviting you back with all kind of comps…they are sneaky that way!
I like the 50% sets. I’m not going to use them with deadlifting though. My old man back may not appreciate high rep deadlifting. But bench, MP and trap bar deads I like so far.
I’m sure Foxwoods will be sending me some kind of promotion to get me to go back. But now hockey season has started I’m booked until spring.

Joshua told his Mom, today, that he doesn’t want to play football next year. He says there is too much running. He said he was going to play soccer instead
After soccer was explained, he decided to reconsider quitting football. lol

How funny. He weighed his options and thought better of his decision.
Last day of my vacation but all good things come to an end.
Ok, that’s outstanding. And I mean the bench and the chin ups and the presses.
Thanks Harry. A few good nights sleep and an enjoyable vacation go a long way.
