Hit grip this morning while my son benched. Pulldowns with the 3’’ country crush grip thing and wrist rolls. Forearms are all swole.

  4. Standing calf raise BWx several sets x single and both legs
  5. Seated calf raise 100x3 sets

Once again my oldest was working out so I went down and did some extra work. I did both slow and high rep work for calves. So they’re going to ache tomorrow.

  2. 150 lb sandbags x 3 carries and several lifts

I got 425 a few inches off the floor but my grip gave out. The last 3 sets of deadlifts I held the weight at the top for a bit. I messed around with the sand bag for a few sets.

  1. 1 arm shld press with 75 lb db and 77 lb circus db x several sets each x 5-12 reps
  2. sandbag and stone lifts x some sets

The 1 arm db pressing felt good. My right arm is so much stronger than my left. I’m glad I have the stones in the basement but it’s tough to set them down gently. They’re definitely an outside exercise.

How do you like your benchdaddy?
Did you look at a slingshot or titan ram?
Can you put it on yourself or need some help ?

Clee, my son has bought every slingshot (red, yellow, blue, green, black, camo), 2 benchdaddys (single ply, double ply), and a titan ram.
I’ve never used the ram so I can’t give an opinion on it. But the slingshot and benchdaddy are easy to get on by yourself. Especially the benchdaddy. And I like how benching feels using either. Not sure why I don’t use them more often. Both really help with shoulder pain. I’d recommend either.
