New Hampshire Lifter II

Clee, I wanted you to see how easy it is to put these gadgets on. The benchdaddy is a little easier but the slingshot isn’t very difficult. And as you can see with the double ply benchdaddy I put up 365x10 but with the lighter slingshot I only could press it for 3. So you have choices with how much help you want and need.

Are you receiving any warning from youtube regarding copyrights about the music?

There is a lot of heavy metal I like and could“t publish my videos with them. Even hearing the song as environmental (not an embbeded soundtrack).

→ my belly is claiming due to abs too

Thanks , that awesome.
Looks similar, sounds like a pretty big difference in performance between the slingshot and benchdaddy. The latter give more support.
Thanks again. That’s a big help in my decision. Probably start with the slingshot and graduate to a benchdaddy.
Nice home gym. Plenty of good options.
Really appreciated

BB, YouTube hasn’t said anything. Maybe because no one watches my videos.

Clee, glad you found the videos helpful. Both of those companies have different strength bands. So whichever brand feels better you can buy all kinds of strengths from.

The other day benching pissed off my left elbow. I think it may be a sign to do more leg work. The cambered bar doesn’t require any elbow flexion or extension. No elbow pain.

My left elbow felt great until the db bench. At the bottom of the movement my elbow lit right up. I’m thinking 2 board bench might feel ok.

1b. powertec calf raise x 4 sets
2. stationary bike sprint superset with powertec squats x 3 sets
3. rdl 225x2x10 275x10

I’m trying to build quads like the indoor bike sprint athletes. Or least something resembling them.

I’ve read that squatting for 10 minutes straight w/135 three times a week will do that for you.

You try it. I’ll cheer you on.

Thanks for support Tony! I think that workout would cripple me though.

Fun workout. I used hook grip for all the sets except 315xreps. Trying to toughen my thumbs up.

Maybe try thumb wrestling !!!

Paul, I don’t have any friends. And you can’t thumb wrestle alone. So it’s hook grip.

Good work on the 10 lb reduction. You joined the Crippler boot camp group?

I used the Benchdaddy tonight.
Awesome.
Definitely has a learning curve.
Very easy on and off.
Where it sits on the arm ,seems to influence where I touch on the chest. Definitely gave my triceps some good work.
I went with the single ply gold. Going to scout out my next purchase
Thanks for the advice.

Mac, I don’t know who’s camp I’ve joined but I’d kill for a snickers bar. Or ice cream…yeah ice cream.

Clee, so glad you liked your benchdaddy. It does take a few sets to get the groove. I hope it adds a bunch of weight to your bench.

You’d eat ice cream in your state in January? Beyond tough.
