Have you done any reverse curls or plate curls? They can be good for variety.
HA, I haven’t done reverse curls for a long time. I did try plate curls today after reading your suggestion. Works the grip as much as the biceps. Cool.
I tried the Mark RIpptoe squatting method today. Face and chest kinda pointed down not held high. Not sure I did it 100% correct but my back and knees felt good. And I didn’t use a box which was weird. I may use these for an assist exercise until I feel comfortable.

- Squats barx10 135x3x5 185x3x5 225x2x5
- A bunch of stone lifts with natural stone and atlas stone
- Plate curls: 45 and 100 lb plates, 1 arm with 25 lb plate
Maybe try some rope climbing? Really strengthens grip/forearms.
You have the trees for it.
Hmmmm. I do have a lot of trees.

- axle clean and press: barx20 65x10 85x10 115x10 135x10 155x10 165x10,10 165x3-every rep cleaned
- banded push ups x5 sets
- cambered bar rows 185x20,10,10,10,10
Still not very good at axle. But they are fun.
Cleaning every rep is a pretty healthy workout, it really hammers your conditioning.
You’re right about that HA!! The cleans are the toughest part.
My loadable Husafell stone arrived today. A cool piece of equipment. I measured where we carry in the basement. 27’ each way. I imagine when we carry the farmers handles it’s only 25’ each way.

More new toys!
you can never move…you have so many cool toys that it would cost a fortune!!!
I like new toys!
If I ever move it’s going to take a week to move all my workout equipment.

2. curls x 3 sets
My second set of chins may have been 13 1/2 reps but I weigh 285 lbs so I gave myself a 1/2 rep. I didn’t have a spot for bench or I would have tried a fifth rep with 325. I think I had it in me.

- Zercher timed holds: 135,225,315,405
My son hadn’t carried the new toy yet so we did it together.
Funny thing my son liked the sound of 250 better than 245 so we stuck a 5 lb plate between the 45s.
Ought to paint a superman S on that thing.
And if you DID move, the only friends that would offer to help?..are your T-Nation pals.
Airfare not included.
Mac, I should paint ‘get out of the way’.
Thanks Eric!! You’ll be the first I’ll contact if I move.

I’m not sure how much weight the band added.
I may have to try this
CL, I was surprised how well this worked. I’ll definitely try it again

- Cambered bar rows 135x10 185x10 205x10 185x10 135x15
- db pullovers
- db curls 40s x3x10
I used to really like the pullover machine but found the db pullover lacking at the top end. So I attached bands to a db and tried some pullovers. It kind of worked but it I think it’s a two person job. The db needs to be handed to you. It’s hard to get in position while holding the banded db.

Kept it simple.
My oldest did farmers carries with 590 for 20 feet tonight. Almost made it the 25 feet we have set up in the basement. His left hand grip gave out.
Per hand? That’s nuts dude. I strained a trap with I think 380 at a training session with Hugo Gerard and a few other guys. 590 is insane.
Sorry. 590 total. 295 per hand. 380 per hand is nuts.
