ILooks like my max is 375 right now. Not sure I could have gotten 380. I’ve benched 405 several times in competition and 420 once in the basement. I’d like to get at least 410 in competition one time before I’m too old.
I was supposed to start this new workout on Monday but I was bored. Both sons and wife are working.

Does anyone know if any of the water weight mixed into dry concrete somehow remains after the concrete is fully cured? Because all of the stones I’ve made feel heavier than the amount of dry concrete in the mix.
It does not, but the weight varies with the humidity. And cured concrete has a different density than dry mix. You can actually figure the weight if you know the diameter, by calculated the volume of the sphere times the weight of cured concrete. The info is easy to find on the internet.
Concrete hits roughly 80% cure at 72 hours, I think it’s 96% at 30 days. and then gradually gets to 100% over the next 20 years. The water weight will depend on where it is and the ambient air. A lot of sun and it’s dry quick, we used to fight that when pouring in the summer.
My top set of carries was only 230 lbs each hand. The grip strength of the guys who carry 300+ each hand is incredible. I guess you could call it speed work I was doing with the 150 lb atlas stone. I moved it from ground to shoulder as quickly as I could.
