Good to see you Kevin. Bands work really well with my squat machine. Feels smooth.

Stone lifts x bunch

Rolled the 335 lb stone onto one of my big tires. Even 24’’ off the ground I still can’t lift this stone. I need more work with smaller stones.

Think more like from 48" initially. Get it comfortable on your chest and set it down slow. At some point you will be able to go down and then back up. Even if just to your lap at first.

Thanks HA. I’ll have to figure a way to get the stone higher.

that is allot of chins.

I bet a 2x10 and two tires stacked might be a good start.
roll it up the 2x10 to the tires

Rolling a 335 lb stone up a board to a 24’’ height was a bit scary. 48’’ will be
Interesting. I’ll be ready to jump out of the way.

Bahahahaha. Exactly.

My first stone for training was about 335 lbs. Homemade. I rolled it onto a porch that was a little over 36" high. First few times I just picked it up and got used to holding it on my chest and extending up before putting it back on the porch. Then I got brave and started doing partial negatives. Then I couldn’t come out of negative and had to roll it back up onto the porch. Then I got it and started doing reps without actually letting go of it. I got to be really good at stones, especially the first three.

You’re a beast!!! I want to become (kinda) good at stones someday.

T-handle swings 50x8x25
One arm timed holds x 3 sets each side
Circus db rows 77x2 sets

I just felt like getting some blood moving and work on my grip. My son double overhanded deadlifted 455 no problem tonight for fun. I can barely double overhand 405.

Maybe I used to be a beast, now I’m an old man trying to out lift grandmothers.

My oldest hit log press and bench tonight. I didn’t just want to sit around and spot him so I worked grip while I wasn’t needed. Timed holds and pinch grip mostly.

Going to attempt to stick to a workout plan starting Monday. So I thought I’d find where my bench max was.
