New Gym Location in Phoenix

I’d absolutely love to be a member and work out there, but it’s just too long of a drive. 33 miles from my house to there is just too much… Maybe i’ll come down for a visit or two at least.

Finally finishing up on the last of remodeling, about a week to go. And some of the equipment started arriveing, so far we got the reverse hyper, safely squat bar and barbells in. I also plan to put some time in on the website hopefully this week, it seriously needs work.[/quote]

Being someone that travels abit I do love day passes so we will offer those.

I might be moving to phoenix for a new job - from out of state. I was wondering of there was any contact information that I could use to get ahold of someone with some info regarding this new gym. I am 22 and have been olympic lifting for 8 years and recently took up strongman this year - any help would be appreciated.

Okay I just updated the website and blog. Still needs alot of work, but check out the quotes for some shits and giggles. We’re almost done with remodeling. Right now just waiting on the equipment to roll in. Hopeing it’ll all be in by the end of May.

Finished up most of the remodeling with painting the walls. We’re laying down the flooring this weekend. Now just really waiting on the rest of the equipment to arrive. Which should be any day now hopefully.

Checked out your site and saw the picture of you and Chris in your dress blues. How long ago was that?

It was the 2003 birthday ball, so Nov, 2003.

Well it’s the end of May and I hoped to have my equipment in, but it hasn’t showed up yet. So Chris made some calls and was told it’ll be another 2weeks for delivery. I guess they are waiting till everything is ready before shipping so they can put it all on the same truck.

Hey, CEZAR, will you have weighted dip/pull up belts, or do I have to buy one? Need to know, thanks.

Oh, and open already. Dammit.

I will when they arrive… Come on now, did you think Jarheads would forget that. Go anywhere there are Marines and you will find at least a couple pull-up bars and more than likely a dip belt of somekind, lol. Be it a base, ship or recuiter’s office.

Though if there’s anything else you’ll like to have, let me know and I’ll get it if I don’t have it already and it’s useful…Sorry but I won’t be getting that colored/padded 1-5lbs dumbbell set.

Here’s a quick list of some stuff I got that normally you might have to bring into a gym.

Bands
Chains
Boards
Dip Belt
COC grippers
Forearm roller
Chalk bucket
Blast straps from EFS

Are you going to have a setup that would allow you to do hip belt squats (either with a pulley or platform setup)?

I think you need to add a set of IWF certified competition bumpers to that list. (wink, wink)

LOL, you think like I do. Right now I have the hip belt harness from Ironmind you can hook up to a barbell or a low pully.
