I think I speak for everyone when I say that you need a close up video of this “glute circuit/Brazilian butt workout” that you speak of… You know so we can check your form and all. Can’t have you getting more injured

Greg speaks for me on this item.[/quote]

x3. Maschy GLUTES!! You continuing to workout is just impressing the hell out of me, Maschy. Can’t keep a good WOMAN down.

consider this a place holder in case this bitch locks up

just got back from the gym and I’m housing some roasted chicken (nom nom) but I have cats swarming around me like sharks! MUST.PROTECT.FOOD.

Be back soon!

hi Maschy
when you come back how about the story of the awesome tat on your back, i cant quite make out what it is.

keep looking on the positive you have a massive fan base.

spook

^^ Yep you seem to have loads of fans, you have a lot going on, on your log, don’t know how you keep up. You’ll also have to give me your secret to doing 2 types activities/sports at the same time, you seemed to be doing pretty well until that fledgling psycho ran into you.

And I’m back!

Yesterday’s workout - chest and arms:

Stationary bike 10mins < not too bad on the knee, so that’s promising
Stretching and knee rehab < yay! kept my word, ROM is coming back!

Chins 5x5xBW
DB Incline bench - 8x30, 40, 40, 7x40 < This is good considering I haven’t benched since February when I sprained my shoulder. I failed on the 8th rep on the last set. So close! Valiant effort

Flyes for the guyz at 25s 4x12
Dips - 4x6xBW
pushups - 2x12 - one set with feet inclined, one set plyo < I had to abandon these b/c they hurt my knee. Its weird and annoying that I can ride a bike with minimal pain, but I can’t do something as innocuous as a pushup
Zottoman curls - 12x15, 20, 20, 15

And of course, I was supposed to do abs but was too fucking lazy. Brotard status has been revoked!!

So basically, that’s how my new BBing split is going to go until I get the knee situ sorted out. I’m going to make a few changes to the split by adding a GM GVT day and include some quad and a bunch of the other exercises I plan to do. My over all goal right now is to just keep things tight until I’m all healed up, and lean out. I’m currently at 133 and I want to get down to 127 - so that when I get back into Oly I can stay close to my desired weight class

I’m also just going to throw up some progress pics. Like I’ve said, I’m in the process of leaning out. Haven’t really done much aside from clean up the diet. Calories are pretty much in the 1800 range. I figure if I just stay consistent I’ll lean out slowly but surely.

I’m currently a bit grossed out by my lower half, which is usually my money maker. But with the ACL I haven’t been able to do the kind of lower body work that keeps the legs and glutes looking juicy and delicious. Now they just feel and look flabby and jiggly. Hopefully I can turn that around soon!

And of course, I just want to say thank you ALL for tuning in to my log and following me on my journey. Never walk alone indeed! You guys are the best! I seriously have a lot of love for the PW compound and all you crazy strong freaks (especially the tiny ones!) and weirdos.

You guys are so amazing! And without your support, I really, truly don’t know where I’d be right now. This log has been a strange little log with 3 separate injuries, a foray into Olympic lifting, and a constant attempt to improve my lifting and lift correctly and safely. And while I feel I’ve had to take many steps backwards, I’ve made great strides forwards as well! The journey ahead will be a great one no doubt

Keep killing it my bitches!

Lots of <3 to you all and happy lifting!

For the bros and the hoes

I sometimes forget how tiny some of you bitches are.
And then get kinda peeved when you say you want to lean down into the 120s fml

Looking tight and non-gross to me!!! And nice upper strength!

pst, tell me about this booty thing you do.

I’m takin my deload while in MI with the fam, but I’m still going on lots of walks and doin bw stuff.

LOL! but MiM, I’m barely 5’2! 133 on my frame is quite a lot, really.

The glute circuit! I forgot to answer you on that.

The “Brazillian Butt Workout” my friend Julio invented, he throws it at his clients generally as a finisher. I love it because it burns like a mofo and is very Fonda-esque

Basically its these five moves done on hands and knees 25reps per move, per leg (add weights as desired):

Fire hydrants
Knee to elbow kickbacks
Side circle
See saw
Heels to Heaven

Julio is a visual person and drew the moves in my little workout book. He’s so cute! I hope you can see them in the pic!

At any rate, you know tons of stuff MiM! You can add whichever moves you like! Superset that with some burpees, jump squats and lunges, a pushup ladder and an abs series and you’ll be golden!

Maschy, you look completely delicious in those progress pics! I understand the feeling of jiggly, but the feeling and the actual look of things can be widely disparate.

Cleaning up the diet and focusing on leaning out during this non-oly time is a great strategy! I highly endorse it and am pulling up my chair to witness it unfold.

And, just in case this post locks your thread, I want the last word:

MASCHY IS AWESOME!

xoxoxo

The back piece is really nice. And your body is awesome. 133lbs looks very good on you.

You have got be kidding me right? The lower half is fantastic, now go bulk to 140

Oh and I havent thought of Zottman curls and ages, Im gonna rock em tomorrow with my raybans.

do you have a prowler or sled by any chance? it’s the only heavy leg work I can do because of my shin splint right now so maybe it can help out your ACL.

You look fantastic hun!

I’m pretty jealous of your arms and ass! Nice upper body workout, btw.

And it beautifully compliments your ass

Andy,

You sure that’s a good idea for her ACL? I would assume that BACKWARDS sled drags are more stressful on the ACL and forwards on the PCL, but I’m not sure how much better it is.

Don’t worry I checked it is not too jiggly just the right amount. :stuck_out_tongue:

But we have to have goals so I guess I will accept the 5lbs loss.

As far as pushups are concerned could you maybe handle weighted girlie pushups? Would that be okay for the knee? Or maybe one arm girl pushups? <These could be weighted too if they’re too easy.

I have no idea, I’m not a doctor. Best for her to see for herself.

Those little stick figures are great!!
Thanks for the info…
