That said…
The verdict is in:
I have a torn meniscus and a partially torn ACL. wuh wuh! So that’ll be a minimum of 6 weeks for everything to heal up, assuming all goes as planned.
As for training, well, who the fuck knows. Right now even thinking about doing any training makes me queasy - without my leg brace i might as well stand on a block of jello. bleh! ick! But maybe once the the knee feels sturdier, and the pain and swelling go away, I’ll do some upper body or pilates, or something…Frankly, this injury was so terrifying that I’m not even sweating it.
On the plus side, I’m rocking a pink cane which basically elevates me to full-on pimp. Plus now I have a weapon to use against negligent drivers instead of just running my big mouth…
And on the down side, well, i don’t really need to elaborate there but I’ll add “slow moving target” to the list of shitiness.
But yeah, i’m going to be ok and I shall live to train another day! And like Veggie said, and Max too, if you play sports, you run the risk of getting injured. And frankly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Hang in there Masch, it sucks to get hurt, its in the back of my head all the time when playing sports or lifting etc, you will be back, stronger and better than ever. Heal up, do what you can to keep your sanity.
I do wish that any type of injury you get wether it be a paper cut, cracked nail, chapped lips, you show a pic of your beautiful booty.

Also I have the exact same brace and have had that exact same injury. I, of course, did not look that great with said brace.
