Damn Masch I think your lifts all look great! Your snatch is speedy and your getting your head through on the jerk (I can’t seem to get that) Everything is really coming along. And you look good doing them too LOL at the ping pong ball drifting in your area.
hey wow yes you are improving! you were really damned fast under the bar in that first one, in particular. yay bumpers (does happy dance!!!) congrats on the 37! i am going to have to work hard so you don’t get away from me… i’ll be very happy if i can keep up with you and get a bodyweight snatch in a year.
i might need to back track a bit… depends what you mean by ‘over the bar’. Kono reckons one should start the first pull with the shoulders ‘over the bar’ in the sense of having them forwards of the bar (like the toes are forwards of the bar). Everett reckons one should start the first pull with the shoulders ‘over the bar’ in the sense of having them vertically on top of the bar (the middle of the shoulders - like how the shoulders need to be over the bar in a deadlift else the bar will roll into position and not leave the ground until the shoulders are over the bar). That is my understanding of their difference on the start position, anyway.
I’m sorry that you feel chubby… But I reckon you look great! Hope you enjoy your rest day and have a blast at footie.
Hi Masch
That first snatch went up so fast. Nice!
I don’t really see the chubbiness but I think your boobs are bigger, I had to go back to the beginning of your log to check, I don’t see any other difference though. Also you looked good in those little shorts.
I’d be so freakin distracted by the ping pong balls I’d be tempted to throw a plate at them
your lifts look good to my untrained eye and your ass and legs look awesome to my trained one
everybody here agrees you don’t look chubby, however good eating habbits are never wrong to cultivate. I would say, eat as much as you want, when you want as long as its healthy foods right? then what ever bloat you might feel you’re sporting will be long gone.
Agree on all the ping pong I get distracted so easy.
as far as I know your OLY looks good, I have no idea how to do the first pull I just rip it off the ground which of course limits it. You learning the proper technique will really pay off big time.
I noticed on your jerk it looks like you are getting a little on your toes which makes you press the bar a bit out in front. I have the same problem. Its not bad but just something to keep in mind.
I just can’t take you seriously, given all the things you’ve ever shared with us on here. Trying to picture you teaching a class of young students, then I recall you talking about all this shit you’ve discussed…does not compute! Fucking cracks me up.
Always dig your vids. You always look focused, like you’re one OTOS mother fucker–On Top of Shit!
What do you weigh right now?
And I bet that perpetual smile while lifting is due to the draft you feel from the…factory air =P
Love the vids. And as others have said, I see no chub. But, I get that you want to be at your fighting weight. I’m feeling the same way right now too. I even put off my pullups on Sunday since I had a nice bloat going on. Bloat=bench day. I think this is why I’ve come to love benching so much.

your gym has ping pong and a smokin hot maschy doing oly lifts??? i need a new gym membership[/quote]
That’s not a gym dude. It’s a community recreational center, although they do have a weight room part with benches and machines for more “bodybuilding” style training all the way in the back but thats part of the center just like the ping pong tables and Oly lifting platforms.
