Having trouble staying asleep at night (approx 5 hrs), which I am sure is hampering recovery. The problem has been getting worse over the last couple of months, as I am waking up earlier and earlier. It’s fucking ridiculous. Must sleep more…

Have you tried melatonin? I was having sleep issues as well and melatonin has definitely helped. Start w/ 5mg 30 mins prior to bed.

ddot - i will give melatonin a try. the raiders…usually the season is over by now 0 - 4, so actually they are exceeding expectations. being a raiders fan is painful.

Cav - yah bodybuilding it is. No powerlifting plans currently. I have a couple of buddies who have been getting into it more and more, also with matty and gregron to name a few, getting after it, my interest has increased.

Canada K - going to pick up some ZMA and no not cutting. ended my cut diet in July.

There are zero powerlifters at my gym. I am sure I would take an active interest if I had more exposure. In the mean time I just lurk training logs.

On a related note, everytime I dl heavy i screw my lower back up. Totally sucks because I like dl’s.

He has been coming on lately, but when he was injured other guys stepped up (rookies, free agents, heyward - bey, and formerly injured players), and it seems like Campbell is not looking for him like last year. wt gain is not moving fast enough. Increased cals last week and I am dropping a cardio day starting this week.

Well, that sucks. At my gym, 11 of us entered the local meet this year. The atmosphere definitely makes you try harder.
