Loved the physique pics. Interesting to see the transformation. I like the bulked heavier pic rather than the dieted down one. But your goal is obviously to please the judges. Not me.
Thank you. I have lurked in your log in the past. I admire your resolve.

My wife also likes the bulked up version. Why is this? Too much like a lil old man in the skinny pics?
I’m a guy, and I like the bulked up version better also. To me, it’s like looking at the juicy, marbled rib eye vs. the (higher priced and supposedly better tasting ;-)) aged, air-dried version hanging in the special locker. No insult intended, of course. And kudos to the resolve it takes to do what you do, and the hard work it reflects.

Lower East Side of NY -brings back memories. Are you from there?

such a fucking show off!

No insult taken and thanks for the props. I compare it with my tastes in women. Which, is the special locker every time. No worries, to each his/her own.

Thanks OldGoat. it’s fleeting…by the time football season rolls around, i will be my normally soft self.
So you are a football fan? What kind NFL or NCAA? or Both?
Yep. Pros and college. Raiders and NV WolfPack (WAC and next yr MWC conf)are my teams. I also follow the Iowa Hawkeyes and big 10 to some extent. Yourself?
Why the Hawkeye love from a guy in Nevada? Not that I’m complaining, just curious.

You like the Hawks, hate Becky Badger and end it with the obligatory FGH! You’re all right in my book. Carry on.

30 mins cardio

7/20/11
decline db 65, 70, 75/8
incline bb - 135, 155, 175, 185/8
machine press - 140,150/6 slow negatives

db bent rear laterals
band pull aparts
6 ways
mp 115,115/8

seated calves 6 sets
guts 8 sets

overall a good day in the trenches.

You do have an admirable physique. What’s your training history like? How many years?

I’d like to do some black and gold puking over at Kinnick this fall. Could be a strange year in the big 10 with Michigan still re-building and the re-shuffling at Ohio State.

Thanks. Trained for a long time. Got serious about it in college, pursued for several yrs, then went through the motions up until about 18 months ago. Dialed in diet and training and am off to the races. Actually feel like I am just getting started.

I have to make it to Kinnick for sure. The history and tradition is awesome. Yah, I don’t think Denard will hold up all season at Michigan, and ohio State is…well, the ohio state. lol.
I’m hoping the hawks and badgers meet up in the 1st big ten championship game, and down goes bucky…FGH!

7/21/11

7/22/11

foam roll, shoulder activation bullshit, blah blah blah

revamping my diet big time. refill supplies this weekend, begin monday.
also going to quit doing cardio, except for my 8 mile hike on Saturdays. I have been doing cardio at
least 3 times a week for the last 18 months. Should be interesting to see how I respond.

The scale is barely moving north and I am tempted daily to turn my fork into a shovel. Fuck.

I’m going to ask my pal when he is going home to visit his folks. I’m thinking a trip to Kinnick in the future is a must. Tix since 81’, you have seen some great games. That is really cool, 30 yrs of big ten football.

7/23/11

no more cardio for awhile. Mirror and scale will dictate how long. I predict it will be a short experiment. However, I am so used to going to the gym everyday, that I went anyways and did 10 minutes of nothing on the treadmill, foam rolled everything, and generally dicked off. Maybe one day soon I will actually not even go to the gym on my scheduled days off. Doubt it.

7/25/11
calves 10 set of 8
labias 4/15

seated leg curlz
squats 225/10, 275/8, 285/6 feet wide toes out (slightly above parallel)
leg press 3 pps /35
bb stiff leg deads 205,205,225
12 working sets

body wt 170

7/26/11
30 minutes cardio

no cardio experiment is over. My ocd refuses to give it up.

7/27/11
seated calves 6 sets
hs iso wide press, 180,230,270,290/8
bb incline 135,155,175,185/6 - should have gone heavier on last set.
db flat bench 65/10x3

db bent over laterals 22/15x3
db side laterals straight arms 20/10x3
up and overs 95/10

leg raises, v ups, rope crunches.

Notes - shoulder is feeling well lately. I hate starting new supplements. Inevitably the first order of whatever flavor I choose tastes like complete ass. I mean, what I imagine ass would taste like.
