Yesterday was really though. I was just craving the tacos my family had for dinner. I couldn’t stand it. So I fought off another urge to eat. This diet is about small victories leading to one big one. Past the halfway point. Weighed in yesterday at 212 so I am now down 12lbs if 15 days.
Keep up the hard work man. I am wondering however, what are you doing in terms of training? I read through the entire thread and didn’t catch a glimpse of anything you were doing currently; only what you planned to do as follow up.
I am also on the V-diet; 7 days in and 7 lbs lighter. I have been following the v diet protocol and for training I have been implementing a 3 day/week variation of meltdown training.

Is it uncommon to already be sick of these shakes by the 4th day? I don’t even look forward to drinking these things anymore. [/quote]
Not for me. I was sick of them by that time. Good news is that it gets easier. Just stick with it. Try mixing some flavors like banana and chocolate if you have it. Stay strong and just keep your eyes on the prize!
Things are going well. I wish my craving for bad food was subsiding a bit. Craving pizza like mad. Also I am getting sick of the shakes again. I have had a few moments of lightheadedness but other than that doing well. My pants are getting loose. Which were very tight not that long ago.
I can’t wait to eat this saturday. Also I am considering Sunday my home stretch. I will be 7 days away on Sunday. Oh and good thing is we are going to my mother in law’s for Thanksgiving. Her cooking isn’t very good so I won’t be so tempted by food :-).
You’re doing great man. Keep it up, you’re almost finished. How much weight have you lost up to this point? Are you able to tell a difference in the mirror?

I can tell a pretty big difference. Today I am wearing a pair of pants that I haven’t fit into in a year. I still have a bit of weight to lose but I would never have lost it this fast. Overall the pro’s outweigh the con’s on this diet. Also I am not losing strength in the gym.
Thursday and friday were exactly the same. I was getting on friday to have some food sunday. I have been feeling good however I haven’t felt like I have been losing the weight I should be.
0715 - HOT-ROX, BCAA’s, Flameout
0800 - Metabolic Drive, flax
1100 - Metabolic Drive, BCAA’s
0300 - Whole food. 1/2 Tri Tip sandwich and 1/2 Chicken Salad with basalmic vinigrette dressing. Salad had an array of veggies which was very satisfying.
0600 - Metabolic Drive, Flameout
0900 - BCAA’s
Forgot my second HOT-ROX that day.
Whole food was really good. It felt nice to eat again. Can’t wait until next Saturday.
Felt good yesterday. I weighed in a 211. So I am down another 1.5lbs. I feel like I have lost more but you can’t argue with numbers. I wish I had an accurate BF measurement to get a good handle on the results.
I read through Christian’s article from Dud to Stud and that will be my next step after this diet is over. I will most likely go on the Get Shredded diet from John Bernardi and a Full Body routine for the next 4-6 weeks. After that I will hit the anabolic diet with the HSS-100 routine for the next 4. After that I will adjust and I see fit.
Had a really good cardio session today. I did the bike for 60 second intermediate pace with a 30 second sprint. After 20 minutes my butt was beat up. I am going to start the HSS-100 plan after this week is over.
