Neglecting The TRUNK: Pitching

I just finished typing out a nice long post that was intended to preceed this one but it got lost in cyberspace so here’s the shortened version.

Plain and simple, I’m hoping someone AHEMJOEDEFRANCO could prescribe a baseball and even better yet, pitching specific abdominal training program.

I need helping transfering the power from my newly improved trunk to my newly improved upper bod!

I see no reason to continue training blindly if there is a better way.

P.S. I don’t give a damn about getting a six-pack.

what is your max velocity fastball?
how much pitching experience do you have?
what level do you play at?

I have some good info for you but want to be level-appropriate.

There is a product called a Tornado ball that I know Paul Chek has on his web-site,there are many exerises that you can do for this. You use these to train more explosive or ballistic type movements. I think a good routine wiht one of those would fit the bill. Alternatively there many exercises that you could do utilizing a swiss ball.
