Mysterious Weight Gain

Upon waking weighed 185.4. After 1 hour, no eating or drinking, weigh 186.2. Same scale.

Some people forget that water is ~1g per 1ml of water. If you train hard enough it’s not uncommon to drink 500ml or even a liter of water during a session. 1000ml = 1000g = 1kg = 2.2lbs possibly gained by drinking 1 liter of water.

…but the OP doesn’t drink anything during his workout.

Woke up, weighed 186.6. After 1 hour, weighed 186.4. -.2 lbs.

So the guy doesn’t drink water during his workout and doesn’t eat breakfast. Tell me again why you are taking him seriously?

It’s a safe assumption that someone who skips breakfast and water also isn’t bright enough to realize he weighs less because he forgot to put his socks back on.
