bw crunches should be a staple, mate! sorry to hear about your hernia. Does it limit your workload?
i have a hard time believing it wont be blatantly obvious and a major problem come show time.

oh i totally wouldnt do a show with it. It is obvious now FFS! People can see it through sweaters/t-shirts etc… if they know to look for it.
I built myself a nice thick set of abs with weighted crunches from 16-26yrs, and it is just as well, as i still have a decent set now, even after all this time with them just sitting there atrophying! Bear in mind they do get some work indirectly…
BUT i know i need to get this thing sorted before i show - too right.
It is just finding the ‘right’ time - which probably doesnt exist (this has actually reminded me to ‘just do it’…)
And no - it doesnt affect my poundages too much, i am aware of the injury when pulling and squatting so i dont do max work anymore - but for normal work it isnt restrictive.
No pain, it just needs fixing before it strangulates.
Anyways…
might be a good excuse for u to try GH post surgery for a speedy recovery and a boost come show time lol. I currently cant mentally justify spending that kind of money, but im trying to find a reason bad ![]()
Fuck GH - it would be a cold day in hell when i can afford that kinda extravagence.

HAHA! hmmm…that’s not a bad idea. If my morals could get away with it
lol
JJ as far as ab work, I’m a fan of higher rep stuff, most of the stuff I do is bw. I also deadlift and squat heavy which works em pretty well too.
I’ve always had big abs tho, so it was all about definition and deep seperation for me. I think that the only reason to be adding weights for ab work is to make the muscle itself bigger and stronger for your core work.
Bw excercises are no joke for abs, plus you can do em anywhere
lol
The only weighted abwork I do is the crunch machines. lol And thats usually only when I’m done with my workout and started a shake and a nice gym bunnie was in the ab room “workin out”. I might go in there and ask her to show me some good ab exercises
lol

you ol’ dog u!
I know how to work them! It is with teh hernia… ;p
I cant do any crunch work at all… that is too direct, i was thinking some isometric - planks… etc… maybe woodchops… maybe some BW crunches if i keep the protrusion pushed inside the hole…
JJ
So i have decided to drop the letro.
I am running 50mg of proviron and i have added 20mg of nolvadex instead of the letro… i just want to see if i need it, and if the water will come back to assist me with my lifts/strength etc…
I barely put on any water at all even with the drol! That letro is some powerful shizzit.
I am hoping that 20-40mg of nolva with 50mg proviron will be enough to hold the gyno - like the old days before adex etc… i think it should.
If not, then it is no biggie to go back on…
I only use 0.125mg of letro once a day… so it is truly great stuff.
I am looking good though… my weight isnt moving much, but to be fair i am not trying to eat too hard… i am stable around the 35-4000kcal mark - and i dont expect anything when i am not trying my hardest.
But i am looking pretty swole, quality.
Thanks peeps!
oh, also - i have ordered 20xOmna’s so i will be comparing those to the UG shit i have been using of late - should make for some interesting views on quality!
JJ
JJ did you actually have gyno or was the letro preventative?
If you’re just preventative I’d kinda question why you’d even run the nolva at all; if you truly don’t need it.
If you actually had/have a gyno problem I cannot endorse dropping the letro altogether.
I do have a small case… it came years ago after prohormones, dbol and sustanon.
At one point it was so that tribulus inflamed it! honest!
However now it is much more stable.
What i have ended up doing is dropping the letro down to 0.075mgED/EOD(!) and adding a Nolvadex tab of 20mg and seeing what happens - there is no problem at all so far.
I dont think that it is that bad if i dropped the letro and kept the nolva though, as if i did get a problem i would simply take the letro again… i notice the smallest of differences these days so would be on top of it quickly.
But i do like to dose my anti estrogens twice a day, morning and evening, so i am doing that.
Please would you expand on why you think i shouldnt stop the letro altogether? Is it because existing gyno is so easy to flare up etc?
Thanks mate!

If you have active gyno you should manage it, letro is your management. Look at FG. I’m not sure you’re lactating or anything like that but speaking as a never ever had gyno once or even close guy I’d want to be more than on top of that situation personally.
I guess when it comes to dealing and living with gyno I’m not qualified to speak from direct experience. I’m kinda worried by some of the guys here who know they have gyno issues and do things which seem to worsen their active condition.

no, me too - let me explain.
I have had it for about 5-6years now. It is small but noticeable to the trained eye, i will need it operationg on at some point when i have the money.
However it is by no means bad, and i do manage it well. I have controlled it and managed it since it surfaced back in 02/03 to the extent it is still the same after multiple 19-Nor cycles and 2-3 heavily aromatizing cycles.
I am on top of it, i will not be letting it develop at all.
No, i have never lactated, and honestly (touch wood) i dont think i am sensitive to prog/prolactin gyno sides.
The reason i have lowered the letro right down is to see how much i actually need as 0.125 has been holding me when i used to use 0.25ED. I dropped to 0.0625mg ED and seem to be good (with 20mg nolvadex and 50mg proviron)
Remember even with 750 test and 50mg drol - a sure fire gyno-fest, i didnt get the slightest itch or swelling at 0.125ed… so i am just playing.
The reason is because the letro strips the water off me, which when my wife gets here is a necessity, as she hates me holding water, (she hates my current size too!!) and doesnt want me to look like a roid-head!
But i want the water for my joints and strength and for the increase in weight and nutrient delivery. I think that having the water held off is a negative on a highly aromatizing cycle as the water does a job - as does estrogen in general.
The lack of water during the drol portion of the cycle was noticeable, and while i put on 12lbs over those 3 weeks, that i seem to be keeping, i missed the massive bloat somewhat!!
I know you are looking out for me and my titties, but i assure you, i am not slacking in my management of this condition at all. No fuckin way jose!!
JJ
I quite like this picture.
It is cold, but it turned out ok.
I really need to get someone to take some pics when i am posing with a good pump. The difference is phenomenal!! (Wonder if that is the Equipoise working?)
Anyways…
I would like you with a good eye to tell me what to work on - EXCEPT CHEST!! I know that! the fucking thing. ![]()

It’s probably just the pic, but your shoulders look like they need more work. They just don’t seem to stand out much from your arms. But like I said, it’s probably just the pic that makes it appear that way.
I know you don’t want to hear it; but your chest. I only mention it because I still remember what you wrote about the chest specialization at the very beginning of this endeavor (before it mysteriously vanished). If I recall correctly, you stated that it has worked in the past. So why didn’t it bring your chest up this time around? I ask because I was thinking about such a routine so please don’t think I’m here to criticize.
no probs.
I dont remember the post you are talking about that disappeared??
Anyway… the chest you see is actually the best it has been… the fat i am holding is making certain things look different on the pic than in the flesh… like my outer lower pec and my delts particularly.
Staying with the chest, it is getting there but it is and has been and always will be a weak point. (i just remembered the specialisation you were talking about - has it disappeared? i dunno…)
Specialization does work, and i am currently focusing on my chest and delts, but while it does work for my chest it gives me a better chest, not a great one!!
In short, it does/is working, this IS improved bitch!! lol!
(i am currently working it 2x/wk while all other parts 1x/wk due to work commitments.
My delts and arms just take the work i think… i am not totally sure, as i FEEL it in my chest when i press, and i have done more than my share of iso pre-exhaust…
Delts, ya… it is mostly the pic due to the fat i am holding. My delts look pretty decent from the front particularly, the rear and side delts show from the front giving the delt a full look. (gotta get some decent pics up)
However i do struggle to get the rear delt as popped as i would like in this pose… in the side tricep it looks good, so it is a problem of not pulling the arm back enough - bigger muscles would help too of course!
The side delt/bi tie-in… not my greatest area… i am loving how side raises are working of late so watch this space.
Thanks! Anymore?!

So it’s been a little over a month now for the chest. Are you going to hammer it even longer? For some reason I think you said you were going to work each section 3 weeks and move on.
