if i were you i would do some work on my arms no punn but on all that aas you should have more than 16in that isnt very much how much are you eating remember you gotta eat like a stuck pig when you are on a large cycle or gains will be nill.
you are doing to many reps too you need to add weight rule of thumb is if you can do more than 8 reps you need to increase your load. hope this info helps you reach your goals good luck
His arms could use some more size. But he’s not concentrating on that portion yet. Remember, he’s concentrating on certain body parts to bring them up to snuff before attacking another muscle. I’m confident he’ll add a bit to his arms once his training shifts to that area.
I dunno… the thing is, what cant be seen in this pic is how the size i have currently looks on me… I am not big by any means, but i am big for my frame, with slim joints and moderate height.
I believe you can see it if you look at the picture, look at the proportions of my hands and arm length etc to the thickness… and the thickness of the forearms to the wrists.
Gotta disagree on the arms, if i brought up my arms they would surpass everything else.
They may be only 16", but that is cold, and there are definitely more important bodyparts to work on right now… chest for one will fill in my total front shots.
I appreciate the comments all the same.
As for the specialization, i had to stop the type i was doing as i got a new job and continuing to train like i was was no longer an option.
I had to drop down volume and frequency massively to build back up… now i am training with 18 sets per session from 35.
And 4x per week from 6+…!
So i do a 3 day split, with a chest and delts day on the end - i am seeing decent results but you are correct, i need more calories.
I need to do a calorie over-haul, but i would estimate my calories to be around 3500…
need 4000 at least - 20xbodyweight.
I am stuck on 87kg, and have been for a few weeks. It is food, pure and simple…
Definitely get that specialization work going. We wanna hear some tales of +120kg bench presses! And stories of gi-normous (that’s gigantic + enormous) Military presses!!!
So, i decided to count the calories i eat daily
and got a shock.
I assumed i was on about 3500kcal due to the not budging in weight… but it is actually between 4-5000kcal a day. Everyday. I realise that gaining while unemployed is different to gaining while employed! Shit man, i better start taking more sick days!
That is bad news because it means i am burning tons and not gaining and my metabolism is still really high.
Anyway, back to the drugs…
I decided to finish the cycle with 3 weeks on the drol and winstrol. Love that stuff.
Put on a KG in 1 day, and my GOD did my strength jump.
1 Day!
Its funny, the first period i used drol during this cycle - i wasnt blown away by strength, in fact it was mellow. Which is not usual for drol, but i really dont get amazing strength from aas - i am just not a strong man.
But i still seem to have gained a good 10kg on my lifts since my last workout! I did some seated OH DB presses today, and i couldnt believe the reps! Just kept banging them out!
OK… got some pics to post. I havent improved, but they are better pics.
Still on my camera and on the timer, alone - so i cant wait to get some real ones done with a decent bodyfat and a little more muscle in 10 months or so…
I think in some of these pictures, if you imagine low bodyfat and fully carbed muscles, i could do ok in a low level novice show…? i think…? what do you think?
Not going to yet of course, but i think i have enough to THINK about going up at least. I personally want more general size and need to bring up some areas before i step onstage.
Chest and lats are blindly obvious to me now, i am glad for this chance to see myself from a different point… self assessing by eye is next to impossible#!
This is a big help… will help me to proiorotise my workouts.
I suggest to those who BB to do this, as it is a good way to assess your physique… cough BDE - cough ahem… ;p
i think you can see that my delts arent really a weak point as mentioned a few posts up, it was the shot i think.
i am definitely an “arm” person, but my upper back/traps are good too - i like that… my chest and lat width are my main priorities… well they both have been favoured for a year or more and still are behind. i am very weak in those areas and they are MASSIVE flaws… not just a cm off one side, the muscles simply arent there!
Your traps look huge in the first one. Looks like you’re smoking one fat-ass blunt in #2. Back and chest need work for sure. The delts look way better in these pics…
