My Progress Thus Far

Hey all,

just wanted to share my progress with u guys. i know i still have alot to work on. but thought maybe i could inspire some of the guys that are really small like i used to be. I started weightlifting sophomore year because i was tired of being made of for being skinny and like most guys wanted to be bigger and stronger

Before stats
Height-5’7
Weight-100 pounds
Arms-10
Legs- not really sure around 19 maybe
Waist-26
Max bench-70
Max Squat-100
Max Deadlift-not sure i think around 150

after stats
Height-5’7
Weight-152
Arms-14
Legs-23
Waist-30
Max Bench-210
Max Squat-255
Max Deadlift-305

and this took me about 2 and a half years

100 pounds

152

100

152

congrats man. it may be interesting to see what you did with your diet and training

Good progress, man. Keep at it.

hey thanks! um as far as training my brother got me into powerlifting straight away and thats what i started on. then mostly full body routines. Like Chad Waterbury programs and stuff like that.

Ive tried splits but for me they havent really worked out. but thats just me alot of my friends do them and do really well. As far as diet i just ate alot and tried to eat alot of protein. which is pretty stupid i guess but oh well haha

Nice progress…this is very good progress. Just keep going and take advantage of whatever you are doing to keep growing.

This is infact a great way to train and eat for someone with your beginning stats.

Nothing is stupid if it works.

This worked. Great progress. Keep going!

good progress

wow…100 pounds . I think you have the dubious distinction of having the lowest starting weight …EVER

keep at it

I guess there was no place to go but up right?

To the OP–I don’t know why you called what you did “stupid”. I wish I had focused on those simple principles when I started, and I hope other people learn from your ways.

yup i was pretty skinny haha

um i said it was stupid cause idk i could have payed attention to it more ate cleaner and not have gained as much fat. but i didnt think i gained too much. and im not neccesarily worried about seeing my abs which is one of the reasons i think i gained the weight. alot of kids stop when they cant see their abs.

Great job!

We need more beginners to actually post before and afters when they come here to show that they listened, learned and acted!

Keep it up. You definitely have plenty of time to get bigger and stronger.

Trust me, you didn’t gain any inordinate amounts of fat. It’s worked so far, no reason to stop now. You’ve gained a good chunk of weight, keep it up.

And don’t get too caught up in complex programs and such, just make sure you keep getting stronger and keep the form good.

Thanks! yeah i plan to keep going until i hit about 200 then i might do a cut. not sure though it depends on how much fat i gain

outstanding!

This is awesome. Your size increase is huge!

All I can say is congrats!

Very cool.
