Thanks for your service JPegg…my hubby is headed over there in a couple months. But thankfully he’ll be ‘safe,’ tucked inside the prison for guard duty(just trying to think positively) [/quote]
Thanks!

I know it’s tough to be positive MIM, but, it’s your job.
So think about it this way. While he’s gone, both of you will be protecting individuals who don’t have a full grasp of the english language! (Wish you had a sidearm sometimes, huh? ![]()

Comp, you say? Nice!
O-H
I-O!!
alrighty, time for some much needed update.
did not get to the gym before work the other day. a nap attacked me, ended up having a dream about being late for work, and woke up with just enough time to get my ass out the door and make it there on time. bad bear.
weekend working at the ‘other’ store went well, it was slow as could be. glad i brought a book, got about 70 pages read. “the tipping point” by malcom gladwell. read “blink” a couple years ago, and im still a huge fan of that one.
saturday night involved going to the bar with pegg and my brother. i was cut off and taken home at midnight, so i would have a chance of making it to work on sunday. i did, no worries. however, saturday night i saw a few people i hadnt seen in awhile, and the phrase, “are you gonna let me buy you a drink?” was heard often. except, they werent bottles of beer, they were 22oz drafts. WHOOPSIE!!
so here i am, on my first day off in 2 weeks. went to see pegg last night, got to sleep in today, and now im staring at my living room that needs to be vacuumed, documents to be shredded and burned, and a load of laundry that needs to be done. also, a puppy that is VERY upset i didnt come home last night.
and, waiting on my instructions for the gym this afternoon…
this evening, poolside margaritas with a friend, and bed early. now to poke around the other logs, see whatcha been up to.
