It’s great to hear how well training is going for you with the big, burly men at EFS (jealous). I love seeing how they’re re-teaching you the squat, and I’m not surprised you’re picking it all up so quickly.
Question: If you weren’t squatting to the box, would you still be trying to sit so far back, with shins roughly perpendicular to the ground? Is that the end goal? That’s got to take some crazy hamstring strength - I imagine I’d fall over backwards if I tried. In fact, I just did try, and managed a quarter squat before almost falling on my ass!

update; no update, still a very pissy mood. volitle, aggressive, and yet, unmotivated.
cold beer and hot shower helped, now for food, more beer, and bed by 1030. i have shit to do tomorrow and i dont have time for an ill temper. my regular state of bitch serves me just fine.
oh and T, i thought of you and put artichoke hearts in my spinach and feta nonsense. it’s a wonderful nom.
Thankfully, pissy mood has passed. Not just because it’s friday and im lucky enough to have a 3day weekend. not because i had 2 beers, skelaxin, zma, and Z-12 before i went to bed early last night. not because i got to sleep till 930.
all of those things are awesome, but, after laying in bed thinking for a few min, after the dust cleared, i figured out what was bothering me and it was me. so, redirecting my energy today. going back to kicking ass and forgetting names.

Been meaning to ask: is there a specific meet you’re training for? And what lifting fed will you be affiliated with?

I was told to do 4 sets of the 160 i did last week, because i wasnt sposed to go that heavy… whoopsie me i kept goin cuz it felt good!
so after 2 sets of the 160, tate told me to put 20more lbs on the bar. WHOOOPIEEE!!! did 2 sets of 3 there, and called it a day. 180 ftw!! (it might actually be 165 and 185, those big boy bars there mess me up.)
glute ham raises; getting better at these, too, as my form has been tweaked.
8, 6, 6, 5, 4, 4, 4, 3, 3, 3, 2 and then i fucking quit. I could go look but i think i got only 18 or 19 last week.
