the outline took just under 2.5hrs to do. the plan. with the coloring for the other roses, is to have the ones nearest my hips dark, but not as dark as the ones on my hips, with a lil more red. then some brighter colors on the ones on my sides, working toward neon like the one with flames, working up into soft pinks and yellows by the time it gets to my traps.

That is some serious, and beautiful ink!

Love your back width.

Can’t wait to see the colour!!

dang

WOW! Love the ink!

Wraps perfectly around you. Always wanted something like that. Its going to look incredible when its colored in!!

Insanely jealous!! How long did it take you to save you for?

I’ve been itchin for some more ink lately…

You are one tough mofo, Your next squat day is going to be fun. Love the art.

beautiful Cbear - that will be breathtaking when it’s all done.

WOW! you were always a bomb, now you are just deadly. Inked girls rule. I have several myself and a thing for tattooed hotties

MIM- because I’m an incredibly cheap bastard, and because i’ve been waiting for everything else to be “right” in my life for this, it’s been about 2 years since i had the idea. I like this time of year (not to hot or cold so i can still cover up without sweating), i paid off my credit card (not gonna drop money on something like this unless i have everything else taken care of), and the lovely artist thought my idea was great and had time to work on me.

actually, shes almost as excited about it as i am, because she does too many (for her taste) generic tattoos. ask her about MMA fighters… teehee.

four60- well hey there! I did my GM’s ok, as long as I keep my shoulder blades pinched together, it felt alright. Dunno how that will be when that top rose is colored in, though.

to everyone else- thanks! I’ve wanted this for long enough and im so happy i have it i’ve been stopping and staring in the mirror (more than usual) every chance i get… stayed home the last two days just so i can be nekkid and see it moar! and, to let it heal properly, yeah.

Jason, that was awesome.

Claire! Damn! I’m really speechless. That is a work of art on a work of art.

That front and center rose…um…must have REALLY HURT. as I cross my legs and wince…

Oh, gorgeous. I love the lines it creates

okok, i’ll tell the story.

the front and center 3 roses are actually a coverup of 3 other tattoos i got shortly after i turned 18. it was the only place i could have em and hide em from my parents, and it worked pretty well. went through a beach vacation, bikini and all, parents didnt see em. It was my older sis who ratted me out.

anyhoo, i didnt hate those 3 that i covered up, but i didnt care for em properly, so they healed and looked like crap, on top of not matching. I liken it to having a plaid chair, striped couch, and polka dotted love seat in a room that’s to small to make it work.

and about it hurting… that coverup took 2&1/2 hours, which i did straight though, and wasnt that bad. like a rug burn. that doesnt stop. the next two roses up that i just got done, however, were a little more interesting.

if ya wanna get technical, ive had 7, but it looks now like i have only two.

There is always a story! Those center three roses look beautiful, and certainly not like a coverup.

I do like the redecorating analogy.
